Gruden is still bad. Dan Quinn is probably bad. Vance Joseph is pretty bad. I mean, garbage still stinks; I don't really want to get into a smelling contest about it. Gregg Williams is pretty bad.
Funny thing is outside of Gruden, they’re all former DCs.

Not a knock against Rosen, but Blake Bortles is also a good 4th quarter QB when the opposing defense starts playing soft.
The previous games we were in it and they weren't necessarily playing soft. It just looks like he says screw it and stops being conservative when I'm watching it.

What an odd selection of disparate quarterbacks. Peyton got let down by a bad defense; Jameis was a Pro Bowl alternate from deep into the bench.

I don't think record really matters much, but he's underperforming by varying degrees all of the QBs picked around him. He's underperforming Brock Osweiler and Ryan Tannehill. He's underperforming Eli Manning. He's perhaps the worst quarterback in the NFL this season, and it's not really close.

It's as wrong to say that there's nothing to be concerned about here as it is to say that Rosen is definitely bad. But he's not doing anything to help the team win games right now, and that's very bad.
How is anybody that cherry picking. The stats are there to be seen for players like Manning and Goff. Would you have written them off to even though they had better players around them?

What's the foundation for choosing those three players? Number one overall picks?

Peyton Manning was drafted 20 years ago — is that example really that informative? Even then, Peyton Manning had a rookie DVOA of 7.7%. Those stats look bad based on today's game; but within the era, he was fine.

Is Jared Goff good? Mediocre? Josh Rosen has better weapons around him than Goff did as a rookie, and he's slightly outperforming him. He's a little better than literally the worst rookie season in modern memory. Congratulations.

I would say they are pretty close to the same. Definitely better TE's.

I hope Bidwill sees what experience, coaching, and supporting talent have done to Trubisky and Goff.

Wilks has gotta go regardless because it ain't hard to see once Nagy and McVay took over from their Jurassic era predecessors how their young QB's took off. And yes, I am also aware of the talent influx of their supporting casts which is why GM Boozy should hit the bricks as well.

You still debating whether or not Kirk is an NFL WR?

I don't see why this is helping him at all.

I'd say at this point starting him was a clear mistake, cause he's not learning anything positive that I can see.

Cool story. I didn’t say what you are asserting.

For the record, Kirk is currently 71st in receptions, 49th in yards, 84th in receiving TDS, and 39th in DVOA. PFF has him ranked 46th among WRs.

Not in the top 75 wide receivers? That's a fringe wide receiver regardless if you asserted it or not, it's implied.

I thought you hated PFF?

There are around 93 wideouts in the NFL who play 60% or more of their teams offensice snaps, Id wager.

Kirk is a top 2 wideout on an offense that will likely end up among the 20 least effective since the merger. Huzzah!
