It's one thing to actually know body type, speed, etc. in order to make a comparison, but here's the thing: We don't even know that about Milos except what the media feeds us. According to the media Big Jake was going to do wonders for us and Luc Longley was going to bring 3 championships worth of experience. We need to wait at least until we've seen Milos actually play before making a judgement about him, don't you think?

I agree. We don't know if Vujanic is as good as some reports say or as bad as some people fear. But at least the Suns don't have to give up draft picks or other players to get him. Just cap space.

The cap space may be relevant, but then again it may not be. The Jazz and Nuggets had huge amounts of unused cap space this past season.

What do you mean "we"?

I've seen him play. How many times do I have to tell you guys that he's a player?

"We" = the vast majority of us on this board.

None of us (including you) have seen him play against NBA caliber competition.

Your reports of his abilities are quite encouraging, however. I don't mean to discount that.

Sorry about that Tonto.

Seriously, I am very excited about having him on the team. My all reports he can shoot, drive the basket, and make his own shot. He is supposed to have a "good handle". I have no doubt he will see minutes unless the Suns sign a big time FA guard.

The real issue is just how good a point guard he will be and whether he will play good enough defense to leave him on the floor. This will be difference between 10 minutes a game and 25 minutes a game.

George needs to turn that "we" into an "I". :)

I've prefaced my comments about him regarding NBA competition. It's one thing to blow my Italiano Cousineou. It's another to be locked down by NBA talent.

Think Bobby Jackson, with the handles of Steve Nash.

(I normally don't pimp players from foreign competition, but there is something intriguing about this kid.)

I am anxious to see Vujanic on the team. I am not one of the people who have been attacking him.

Except for Eric who is simply concerned about the buyout with Skipper Bologna, most of the criticism of Vujanic comes from proponents of taking either Gordon or Harris in the draft. Both Gordon and Harris are fine prospects, but they make little sense on a team that would have three point guards (Barbosa, Vujanic, and Eisley) plus JJ on the roster already. Taking Gordon only makes sense if the Suns are convinced Vujanic won't get out of his contract or if Vujanic is not worth having.

Huh? I don't have a clue how you came up with this. I don't think I've ever even mentioned his buyout.
