Wow, that would be huge! San Diego would be very wise to do so as well, under my theory of them wanting Gallery. I've said all along, Gallery, at #1 or after a trade down, is all they want. Sure, there's an outside chance Oakland could snag him, but I don't see us drafting him, and the chances are good he'd be there at #4 for the Bolts. Interesting.

I doubt Coughlin wants Manning. Collins doesn't suck, not flashy but he's good enough to get you to the superbowl. My money is that the Giants are targeting Gallery, who in the "real world" will be gone by the time the Giants pick at #4.

The Giants could probably get to number 1 with a package like their number 1 (4th overall), their 2nd (35th pick), a number 2 in 2005 and a rotation player.

NOw what if...Gally is there at three and the Giants have to deal with us...That would be interesting! There are going to be a ton of what ifs between now and then. If I'm San Deigo I wait till the times near up on draft day before I would pull the trigger. There are more things in the pretty wrapped paper for them to think about.

If we could convince the Giants we wanted Gallery, man, we'd be set!!! Trade down one spot, get something good in return, still get the guy we want. Nightmares of Wadsworth aside, this would be incredible.

There are several teams between 4-10 who could use a stud LT. We might be able to scare the Giants into doing it.

I wonder if Green puts a big smokescreen that we will draft Gallery or somebody is trading up to get Gallery? I was oppose of trading down but If we trade down I'll trade down with the Giants and fleece them.

The following teams are in need of a OT:

Giants (#4)
Browns (#7)
Falcons (#8)
Texans (#10)

If we can convince the Giants that one of those teams wants to move up, we may be able to get them to trade with us.

I think we could get the most from the browns.

Bears too...although it would drop the Cards too far likely. Bears fans are putting together trade scenarios for moving up to #3 to ensure they get Gallery if he gets that far.

Wadsworth got hurt really bad, and his career was over due to that fact. If he didn't get hurt as bad as he did he would still be a Cardinal and probably an All-Pro. STOUT stick it where the moon don't shine!!!

He never had a chance to prove himself.

I think the Giants are very happy where they are. They are gauranteed of getting a player that can make an impact for them. I don't think they are locked into Gallery as everyone keeps saying. He's just about the safest pick in the top 10 is all. If he's not there, the Giants would be just as happy with Manning, Williams, Fitz, Roethlisberger or Taylor. They will be the top 6 picks in no particular order.

Now 1 team was missing in that list of teams that would be willing to jump up to get Gallery. That would be the Redskins. Just remember how poorly their line played last year. Didn't they give up more sacks than anyone in the league last year? Or close to it? I would definately be willing to trade with the Redskins as we would still get one of those top 6 players and an additional pick or two.

We'll take Urlacher for the the number 3 pick. He should be ours anyway.

Hey Bobcat, I don't care where you stick it, as long as you stick it somewhere, moron. I've never been insulted so badly by a person that agrees with me.

'Nightmares of Wadsworth aside' = disregard what happened and do the trade. I didn't think I had to actually spell out that not only didn't we lose anything in that trade, but we gained David Boston and a KR that helped us get to the postseason as well. That's why I want to set the 'nightmares of Wadsworth aside' and make this deal, if that's how it falls out.

Figure out whether or not your arguing for me or against me the next time you tell me to 'stick it', genius

And I finally get an opportunity to use this: :stupid:

The Redskins have Samuells at LT and Jensen (sp) at RT. There issues on the O-line weren't related to the OT position. Unless I missed some news on those 2 the Redskins shouldn't be looking at an OT in the 1st rd, especially giving up picks to get one.

The number of sacks they gave up were due to Spurrier's protection packages and not the talent of their OT's.
