You can strip out the facts, but there are more than that.
1) The team doctors cleared him to practice.
2) His team-administered MRI came back "clean".
3) Williams refused to return to practice.
4) Williams requested a second independent opinion.
5) The coaching staff publicly questioned that decision.
6) Williams backed off the second opinion and climbed on a bike.
Those are all the facts, and they don't exactly add up to a player who's poised to claim a job as a bell-cow back in the NFL.

Source of points 3 and 5?

The Arians Presser from 7/29 that was posted on the Cards iTunes feed makes it fairly obvious that the coaching staff was skeptical of the decision.
As for 3 specifically, isn't the fact that he didn't practice evidence enough that he didn't practice? What further verification do you need?
Several facts in K9's posts remain unchallenged. He could have stayed out after consulting with med / training staff.
So we are not dealing with actual facts, but your summation, and we all know in 'fact' that you are no supporter of Williams.

You could clear/revise points three and five and still have a more expanded set of facts than you're offering. The summation remains true, as does your conclusion, but no amount of mud that you try and throw on me with ad hominem attacks will change the fact that Williams decided that he wasn't healthy enough to practice, didn't practice, and then backed off his desire for a second opinion.

Revised to satisfy Guernsey's high standards for non-editorialized fact-stating.
K9 listed 6 things. You challenged only 2.
4/6 not bad.
Sometimes 4/6 is quite a lot in court.'But, your Honour, we've got most of it right and supported'

You give me $500K and I'll do all the stuff that he did, including sitting at home and playing XBox during the week in between treatments and following surgery.
All he had to do was COME BACK. He was incentivized by $500K+ in 2012 and $700K+ in 2013 (plus vested veteran status which brings on a pension and other long-term benefits).
He's never been a good NFL back, and he's still not. I'll give him the credit of coming back like Adrian Peterson as soon as he plays like Adrian Peterson for one quarter of football. All he's done to show he's "come back" from his latest injury is make an impressive cut into the waiting arms of a linebacker during a non-contact drill.
It sure was a testament to Ryan Williams' bravery and fortitude when he came back three months after his injury and admitted that he stunk up the joint for his FIVE WHOLE GAMES by "being scared."
We'll have to agree to disagree... I think it's absurd to question the heart of a guy who has been thru what RW has been thru, and fought all the way back to where he is right now. All that tells me is that you really don't have much appreciation for what it takes (physically and mentally) to compete at the NFL level...
I believe the issue is not at all about RW's heart or "want to".
That's all...
Let me know when RW competes at NFL level...

I'm pretty aware of what it takes to compete at the NFL level. I just doubt--based on the evidence that's been presented--that Ryan Williams has what it takes--either mentally or physically.
I'm sure that for a period of time he really, really wanted to make it at the NFL level. I'm just not sure if struggling for three years hasn't taken that out of him.

We're a bit more exacting over here. (lol)
