Would this week's game be considered a sandwich game for the Jags? They come off a tough Division win over the Titans and next week a BIG game against the Colts. Seems pretty easy to overlook the Cards. JMO.

Speaking of overlooking things, aren't you overlooking the Jags' game against the Browns between the Cards and Colts games? ;)

Iapetus, I apologize. Must have misread it.

Not a problem. You're right, though, in that it's a tricky position for a game. Coming after a big game against the Titans, our traditional divisional rival, and in the middle of a three-game road stretch leading up to that Colts game it's still an easy game to overlook. It looks like Fred Taylor might be sitting this game out to ensure that he's back to full form for the Colts game (he's been reported as likely to be inactive, even though he's listed as probable on the injury report).

From what the other players have been saying, though, they're not looking past this one - they recognise the threat from your passing game and I think the defence is going to make it a point of pride to show that they've earned their rating against the pass. Should be an interesting matchup - as Mathis said, “It's going to be a great challenge for us. They love throwing the ball and our secondary loves teams that want to pass the ball.”

I've enjoyed your balanced posts.......you have been a welcome addition to our Board.

This is a very important game for the Cardinals long term. A win might be the tonic for a successful "save" of our season. We will get a good read on exactly what our talent is, depth wise, tomorrow.
