Yeah, Player was goofy looking, but he did a good job for us and a nine year career in the league ain't bad. I wish him the best of luck.

He was still a good punter...I don't like it but they must have a reason for it so I won't judge the move until I see his replacement kick.

I'm talking about Player. It was a long time ago and very embarassing as a Cards fan.
oh man i remember that..that was almost embarassing as his tackle attempt in the Bears game last year

THIS ONE IS FOR YOU KOC. TIM WE DID IT.
I cant badtalk a Cardinal who stuck with this team for 9 crappy years. Its funny how Scott Player really wasnt that much of an issue until he was cut and now everyone was calling for his head years ago..

Best of luck Scott!!

People were calling for his head last year when Capshaw was outkicking him.

He's only been mediocre for the past two years though...before that he was fine.

I think his lack of effort to tackle during the run back against Houston was what pissed Whiz off, I know it did me much like the one against the Bears. I guess that is why he wore the single bar he knew he was not going to make contact. This is opposite Rackers who has a linebacker mentality.

Best of luck Scott. Our last tie to the 20th Century.

Its my fault he was released. He was on my team at the celebrity golf tournament. Its why I no longer get jerseys with any Cardinal players name on the back.

Who was the celebrity, you or Player?

now we have a guy who has never kicked in the NFL regular season so things might not get better very quickly....

Me of course, being from Texas. I also won the longest drive contest. 1000+miles from my house to the golf course.

I once got the "closest to the hole" title in a tournament. We weren't playing golf though.

I always felt bad for Player. He is the one guy on the team that everyone hates for doing his job. When he is on the field, it means that the offense FAILED.

I don't think enough people are grasping this fact.

Barr's net is longer than One-Bar's gross. And 13 yards longer than one-bar's net.

BARR: "Mines' longer than yours is ----nah nah na na nah nah.":D
