He'll play next week. Of course Tim and LSH are going to get props, they played AWESOME. But that really means nothing in regards to Beanie. It's preseason, he'll play. He won't start, but he'll play.
No, that's not true. I wouldn't be shocked if he plays in the second half today, even. Nobody has said he is out...only "it appears that way" and "maybe not."
Wait, Beanie will play ONLY IF he's healthy. We had plenty of assurances during the week that the ankle was fine, it was precautionary, and he'd play this weekend still. Yet no Beanie. I will be convinced that he's healthy when we see him playing, and doing so without discomfort. Not until then.

I agree, no doubt. I just still think the Cards will keep 3 QB's when it's all said and done.
Once we see what Matt does by the end of this game. All he needs to do is play safe and smart, and BSP will find himself fighting for a spot against Palko. Palko unfortunately for him comes much cheaper, and so far as of last game, is playing better to boot!

Whisenhunt is letting St. Pierre hang himself. That should end the debate as to who the backup is.
Agree w/#1. And what is even worse is that Matty needs more reps.
But #2, I am not sure about. Lance Long is great and has an incredible work ethic. He could make a #3 on almost any other team in the NFL and maybe even a #2. Don't get me wrong, I would love to have him on this team but NFL careers are so short that if he is buried as a #6 not really good for him.
