Small request, could someone give a bit of a p/b play. Won't get the game on TV or radio. Not able to even follow the boxscores tonight. The comments help to get an idea of how the team is looking. Thx,

Greensborohill, welcome back, I always enjoy another perspective.

Welcome back Jibikao ... hope you had a good off season.

I think the chat does a good job of this. Maybe someone can post the chat after the game.

A heads up to people following the boxscores -

I have heard that there is the possibility that some arenas won't have them working right away (this could be a bigger issue tomorrow).

Apparently the IDS score keepers have a new item to keep track of (which player was fouled), and as of the end of last week only 1 arena tracked this correctly during the preseason. Apparently there is some people who think there could be a few bumps to start off the year.

The return of the cement shoes offense may have cost us this game.

We haven't learned from last year. MOVE WITHOUT THE BALL!!!!!

This game has gone on way too long, does anyone on the team care that we have to work in the morning?

So sad being up 17 and now double-overtime, and Nash with 5 fouls.

Double OT certainly doesn't favor the Suns.

Foul number 5 on Nash was BS....if the Suns could have hit just one more shot down the stretch there then they win.

Horrid coaching by D'Antoni, the return of the stone feet offense kills us again, when up by 3 here's an idea ... GUARD THE 3 PT LINE

Couldn't rebound down the stretch ... just plain embarassing

17 pt lead choked away and we lose

We can't ask Nash to score 30 all season.

We out scored them in the first three quarters then collapsed in the 4th.

it's as i said when amare went down. it doesn't matter how many 3 point shooters we have without amare. we have no one in the center to draw defenses so all defenders can stay home on our perimeter guys making steve work too hard. when dallas clamped down defensively we had nowhere to go. and d'antoni can't draw up a play to save his life.

i realize this is only one game and we're full of new players, but it seemed to encapsulate all my fears. too much scoring load on nash, no one else able to create a shot, no one creates a mismatch or demands a double team.

I can't help but think that with Amare this game is never even close.

It wasn't close without Amare until we decided to have our players stay at the 3 pt line and hope that Nash can bail us out. Oh yeah then forget to guard Nowitski @ the 3 pt line

BTW why does violet palmer still have a job?

The Marion grab non-call was just a joke and it changed the game

No Kurt Thomas down the stretch.

No substitutions in the last 7 minutes as a 15 point lead melted away.

Only 8 guys got significant minutes.

Eddie House sparks the team, gets hot, then immediately gets pulled and never gets another minute.

This was a horrible coaching job. Horrible.

well I agree with this except the coaching part....this should not turn into a coaching thing it is a players thing we have major talent deficencies right now, you have one go to guy Nash and 1 player who offensively can't create his own shot and 3 average players.

role players are what they are role players, rememeber all the big shots Q hit in the regualr season and JJ? yeah how can we expect the same out of guys who are just you know, guys?

I want my old suns...depth does very little for me.

I seem to remember something else about last year.

We had someone to draw the defense inside to get those shots.

I agree. The game ending was pretty much like against the Spurs.

There is too much on Steve Nash's shoulders. I was surprised that the Suns still do not have any single game play for Marion.
