Tuesday's starters are Good vs. Stark. It says Stark is 0-0 with an ERA of 0. I guess this is going to be his first MLB start. The Diamondbacks need to jump on him fast because the Rockies used a lot of their pitchers tonight.

This is Stark's first start of the year.
He started 20 games for COL last year, going 11-4 with a 4.00 ERA, which is good for COL.

Great win for the Dbacks - Elmer pitched a lot better than I expected - only 2 of his runs were earned.

Kata - great game. I can live with the rook errors for now.

You're right. I remember that guy now. Still, with this being his first start hopefully they can get to him early and often.

I have noticed Lyle's defense and have been very impressed. I have a feeling Grace is helping him out a little.

Lyle's offense is not that bad either, especially for a rookie. Chad drives Overbay in and it's now 3-0!

Which is why I don't like the idea of releasing Grace. He is a help in the clubhouse with the youngsters and that is classy.

Awesome execution of the hit and run by Cintron. He connected with a pitch that not many would have made any kind of contact with and he punches it into LF. Great piece of hitting by the kid.

Brenly said on the BDSSP that Mantei is the closer tonight. He said Mantei and Valverde will share the closer's role.
