Just got hone, we won by forfeit. Thanks Dback Jon for updating. Brandon has 8 strikeouts, wow. Bottom of the 5th and tied, let's get some runs.

Great heads up by Cintron. Dead meat at home. Still 3-3 bottom of the 7th.

Webb now has a chance to get the win. It's up to the bullpen.

Oropesa did his job in the 8th. Who would of ever thought before the season that he would be the first lefty coming out of the bullpen. I guess this means with Oropesa and Randolph, Myers could be the odd man out when everyone comes back.

8-3 Diamondbacks! Chad drives in Finley. The Diamondbacks will remember Cintron getting nailed this inning. They have 2 scores to settle with the Rockies now. They will not forget it. Can't wait until September when they come back.

Lyle drives in Cintron with a sacrifice fly, it's now 9-3. They are a hitting machine right now.

Diamondbacks win!!! They sweep the Rockies and win another series. MVP goes to Finley, Baerga and Webb. Props go to Counsell, Cintron and the bullpen once again.

Where is everyone? We need more Diamondback talk on this thread. What a difference a month makes. Diamondback baseball is a lot of fun now. Winning cures everything.

Baerga's shot last night looked like a missle. Man he crushed that ball.

Tom and Steve were discussing the list of players that Joe Jr has essentially pulled from the scrap heap over the past few years and how those players have produced so well for the Dbacks...Counsell, McCracken, Baerga (there may have been one more they mentioned but the name escapes me). I mean ANY team could have had these guys and Jr. went out, got them signed and they produced big for AZ.

Baerga is having a nice year right now.

Great win for the Dbacks - glad Brandon got the W

He is now leading the league in ERA, and extended his MLB-best quality start streak.

man, i'd love to see the giants' faces near the end of the season and then they realize that for a four-game series, we're throwing johnson, schilling, webb and bautista at them. i guess the best they can counter with is schmidt/williams/reuter and some clown. i like our chances. and don't forget our bullpen. that's one scary bunch down there.

i read some guy describe hillenbrand as the next gonzo. what do you think guys, and chance he really could turn his career around, gonzo-style? man, it sounds so plausible...it's damn tempting to believe it.
