We’ll here we are, the Seahawks home game represents halfway through the season. At 3-5 and 0-2 in the division, my annual excitement and hopes for postseason appearance are all but gone. A 3 game winning streak against all our NFCW rivals is IMO the only hope, and seems like a pipe dream. It’s that sad realization that it’s not going to happen this year. Its depressing and a sense of relief at the same time. I’m most disappointed in Kingsbury. I really wanted him to succeed but I just don’t think he is capable. It’s painfully obvious that these Cardinals are sufficiently talented enough but mentally and physically unprepared to compete for a playoff run.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that 3 game winning streak against divisional foes as we are just starting to get into the Kliff Kingsbury second half swoon territory. There's a good chance there will be a 3 game streak but it won't be on the winning side of the ledger.

I predicted 1-6. So I guess you can call me wrong.

Before the season I thought we were a playoff team. Not a good one, but a playoff team. Now I think we're the worst team in our own division.

Yeah, it's hard to get the poms poms waving right now. Salvaging the season and squeaking into the playoffs would mean flipping the script. Doubtful.

But, man, the NFC and our division is so mediocre. Let's say we beat Seattle this week. Then we are 1 game behind 1st place. 1/2 game behind SF, 1/2 game behind or ahead of LA depending on their game against Tampa.

I am not saying we will win Sunday, because we can't beat these bastards at home. But, if we did, it is so easy to get that little flicker of hope back.
