Holy Hell, how is it POSSIBLE that they get away with this. The play is blown dead for unabated to the kicker, they SLAM THE KICKER IN THE KNEE, and not only is there NO PERSONAL FOUL, the player INJURED BY THE PERSONAL FOUL must leave the field?!?!?!

I mean, how low is the level of officiating in the league right now?

Even worse, on the ensuing kick, they called delay of game, even though the ref didn't let the ball rest until there was five seconds left on the play clock. Unbelievable. Simply unreal.

And then the ref doesn't get off the football until it's under 5 seconds, buffalo makes the kick but it's delay of game back 5 yards and he misses.

Unreal.

Bills got screwed not that they weren't on their way to getting blown anyway. Hilarious that NFL refs are part time.

This is the ******** that aggravates fans & leads to ratings being down.

That whole sequence of plays to end the half where some of the worst I've EVER seen of officiated!!! :bang:

If I were Rex Ryan they would've have to escort me off the field by police until it was fixed. I imagine BA would done the same & went postal over that BS.

Infuriating ugh

Jon come on. He was reaching down for the ball. It should have been roughing because he wound up colliding with the kicker but he wasn't trying to he was trying to knock the ball out of the holders hands and the guy kicked it. Should have been roughing, the refs should be suspended for not blowing it dead and calling that roughing, but Sherman didn't even remotely try to hit the kicker

The Seahawks get to play with an entirely different set of rules, week after freaking week. The NFL officiating is an utter embarrassment and disgrace. As is the NFL front office under the worst commissioner ever in professional sports. No integrity or accountability whatsoever.

I'm not generally a conspiracy theorist, but that sequence may have made me into one. Seriously, is the NFL just ensuring that Seattle wins, or are the refs that intimidated in that place that they have to let Seattle win. You wouldn't see something that stupid in an Adam Sandler movie.

I stopped watching after that sequence. Mitch asked if we would have Pete Carroll as a coach, and I couldn't, I just have a hard time with cheating. I wouldn't take Belichick either.

Shame the NFL allows the officiating to stay so poor given how much profit they make.

Jon seriously watch the play again. Sherman is reaching forward with his left hand to try and knock the ball out of the holders hands. The kicker goes ahead with the kick and surprise Shermans shoulder runs right into his leg because if you are reaching forward with your left hand, your shoulder winds up exactly where Sherman's did. he wasn't going for the kicker at all he was going for the ball.

I did think he should have gotten a penalty after the INT he clearly said something to Rex Ryan on the sideline that should have been unsportsmanlike conduct.

If that crew isn't suspended next week we know the fix is in. I'm slowly but surely losing more interest in the NFL game each season.

pereira on twitter said that sequence ruined his dinner.

Can't call roughing the kicker on a dead ball(offsides) but you can and should call late hit on Sherman since contact was made.

He said the kicker wasn't supposed to have to sit out a play that rule doesn't apply under 2 minutes.

Said the ref should reset the clock to 25 after the spike and if he had there's no way it would be under 5 seconds when he released the ball. implied that's a reviewable call because its' a clock error.

Blandino confirmed what Pereira said, should be late hit roughness not roughing the kicker. and the kicker should NOT have to sit out a play because if they call a penalty on the play he doesn't have to.

Just nuts

If the horrible calls were evenly distributed it could be stomachable. Laughable that the majority of America could out-officiate the officials from their coaches, but tolerable.

The fact that they ROUTINELY skew in the favor of a few select teams is what is losing fans. I didn't watch football this pst weekend and didn't miss it at all due to the fact the viewing experience this year has been SO tainted by horrible skewed officiating so as to make it nauseating.

Screw Sherman. The play was obviously every bit dead. Hell, Sherman was in the best spot to see all 21 other players moving. It was a cheap shot by a loud mouth punk.

NFL has the hots for Seattle. For some reason.

The officials don't know the rules of the game they are officiating. It's absolutely shameful.

SHAME ON YOU NFL.

That's what is really disturbing they missed about 4 calls and 3 of them because they don't know the rules. The clock play is completely reviewable according to both Pereira and Blandino, it was clearly a clock error that led to the delay of game.

Yup. Exactly why it was a dirty play

And he may of been going for the ball but he also threw his shoulder and the knee on purpose

I swear, I am inching closer and closer to being done with football.

EVERY week there are controversial calls that blatantly effect the outcome of these games and there is never any accountability, you just see the same refs getting trotted out there every weekend.

There is very little doubt in my mind anymore that the NFL dictates to the officials not to make certain calls, but just to make sure that the big calls go for or against certain teams.

Just like how the Panthers got gift calls against us, then got more gift calls against the Rams. You think with ratings sagging the NFL wouldn't LOVE for the ultra popular Cam Newton and the Panthers to go on a historic run and make the playoffs???

If you went ANYWHERE this summer and saw EVERY teenager dabbing, you have your answer.
