Cody is about 6'2 and weighs about 370. What did you expect him to look like?

Schofield has a torn ACL. Too bad. I'd still take a late round flyer on him. There was a Wisconsin DB that tore up his knee a couple yeras ago. I can't remember his name, Jack something?? that i would've taken a chance on too. I haven't heard anything from him since though.

The Rams version of Darren Urban, Nick Wagoner, is blogging from Mobile with some observations.....

excerpt:

- One scout told me that the class at center this year is woefully thin but there's talent at guard. Illinois' Jon Asamoah is one of the more highly touted interior linemen along with Idaho's Mike Iupati.

Kyle Wilson and Mardy Gilyard continue to put in work.

Gilyard beats Syd'Quan Thompson with a clean move in press coverage.

Starting to like Vlad Ducasse a lot. Brandon Graham beat him easily the first go round, but he came back and stopped him the second time.

Iputati just got put on his back by Alex Carrington. Wow. Granted, it was a rep at tackle, but still.

Brandon Graham makes it looks so easy.

Tyson Alualu using his great hands again and gets to the QB practically untouched.

Ducasse struggling at guard. Got beat inside and missed the snap soon after.

Don't understand why LaGarrett Blount is faking the cut block. He's getting taken to task in blocking drills.

Butler from Washington got to QB pretty easy.

Daryl Washington is really quick. Too quick for some of the RBs to block.

Sean Witherspoon looked good as well.

Where did you see the South practice? I didn't see it on NFL network.
Didn't see it. Read some notes from the Senior Bowl and some of those seemed to be a general consensus from that day.

As a note from the North practice, Zac Beadles was beaten like a drum pretty much all day.

Ugh. Tebow throws an ugly ball sometimes, but he has a great deep ball.

Cooper botched a good throw by Tebow by trying to be cute.

Mayock and Chavous are too busy going gaga over Tebow to pay attention to Jarrett Brown. I really like Brown as a developmental starter.

Jerome Murphy looks good. Very strong.

Dexter McCluster burned Javier Arenas. He's making money so far.

Joe Webb has been dropping some catchable balls.

Taylor Mays looks stiff in coverage.

I like Riley Cooper a lot. He runs good routes and looks smooth, but these dropsies are killing me.

Ciron Black is a guard. Hard to convince me otherwise.

Antonio Coleman with a nice inside move.

Cody looking better.

Darryl Sharpton almost picks off Tebow. Not a good throw at all.

I <3 Jarrett Brown.

McCluster just disappears behind the line.

I missed most of day 2, but here is what I saw.

I would agree that McCluster is making himself money. He just kept making plays and being in the right position on day 2.

Dan Williams is a true nose tackle. Power all the way.

Cody needs to lose more weight, and the big question will be whether he will be willing to work to do so. At this point however, he is the Jamarcus Russell of the defensive linemen. He leaves you wanting more.

I thought Ducasse looked bad all around today. Maybe he just needs to adjust to the competition level jump.My thoughts on others, Brandon Graham looked the best. It hard to believe he's 260+. Ciron Black looked good. Terence Cody looked good. Iupati, at guard, was a monster. Byers was good. Syd'quan Thompson looked bad. Brandon Ghee looked bad. Kyle Wilson looked good. The LB from Washington looked good. Tebow looked bad. Ed Dixon,TE, looked good. Dan Williams looked good. I think the DL looked better than the OL overall. Sean Witherspoon looked good. The best blocking RB,most of them got abused in the pass rush drill, was the kid from Division 2.

Does anyone know if Cameron Sheffield projects inside in the 3-4? He looks the part, but I didn't see many Troy games.

Sydquan is in trouble in the NFL he's too small and has a tendency to gamble too much. In college he relied on his athletic ability to recover, in the NFL you can't do that the WR's and Qb's are too good. Even a freak athlete like DRC often can't recover when he guesses wrong, and Thompson is no DRC.

He can return punts though so he still might make someone's roster.

Without a doubt outside.

Right now I am really liking Sean Weatherspoon. After two days he might be my favorite senior bowl week player right now.

I like Dan Williams so far but I think it will be tough for him to keep his weight over 320. I think he is maxed out right now.

I think Brandon Graham needs to stay in the 4-3 with his hand on the ground.

Also the QB's look pretty bad. Havent liked a one of them, if I had to pick the best smelling piece of poop it would probably be Jarrett Brown, and Pike is going to get snapped in half in the NFL dude looks like a toothpick Dlinemen use after steak dinner.

Ciron Black looks like a sloppy mess. A 1 year old has more coordination then this guy.

Taylor Mays has zero instincts, zero awareness, zero technique, zero ball skills, and questionable tackling skills. All evident in his play and he is showing the scouts first hand at these practices so far. For guy who started for 4 years this is surprising and if he hasn't shown any instincts in 4 years I don't have any faith he will learn in in the next 4.

I agree 100% with this. For all of Taylor Mays' physical skills, he seems to totally lack football instincts and awareness. He takes more false steps and bites on more fakes than any highly touted safety that I have ever seen. Just doesn't seem to be a "football player".

As far as Dan Williams goes, even at NT, does he need to be over 320? He seems to be very strong and athletic enough to push the pocket as is. I guess that I don't see the real hinderance of him staying at 320.

Hopefully Pete Carroll drafts him. :D

I think he needs to be under 320. But also dont get me wrong he can be without a doubt effective under 320 at NT, by effective I mean above average. Just dont think a guy under 320 would ever be dominate at NT in a 3-4 at that weight, there never has been one to date, doesnt mean he cant be the first but I highly doubt it. He needs to stay in a 4-3 IMO.

I think Weatherspoon would be a nice fit in our D. If we lose Dansby he could play inside and if not, he could play outside. I hope he's there when we pick.
Joe, what are your thoughts on Terrence Cody? Do you think the Cards would entertain drafting him at 26? That photo of him makes me wonder. I'm sure they would do it at 58 if he drops that far.

Joique Bell is getting a lot of love from Mayock and Chavous.

Syd Thompson is getting his lunch taken on everything but short routes.

Dan LeFevour displaying some nice accuracy downfield.

No one can stop Brandon Graham.

Jacoby Ford is impressive. He's been having a nice week.

Tennet has great feet.

Iputati stonewalls Graham at guard, but then gets beat at tackle.

Sean Canfield LOVES to dump off, even with zero rush. No me gusta.

LeFevour sails a deep ball to Garrett Graham downfield. If he had a stronger arm, it would have been a catch.

LeGarrett Blount fumbles at the LOS untouched.

Odrick getting in the backfield on a handoff.

Tony Pike not getting rid of the ball quick enough.

Jacoby Ford was wiiide open. Canfield's throw was meh.

Liking Ed Dickson.

Odrick just blew up the line and would have killed Canfield if contact was allowed.

Syd breaks up another short route.
