I think you mean John Belushi. Unless you think Jim Belushi is a comic genius, which would be the most shocking quote I've seen on the board all day.

Yeah I meant John. It must have been subliminal. I kept telling myself don't type Jim, don't type Jim, & I type Jim. Old age sucks. :D

Banned for repeatedly bashing Keim like Bucky does with Levi. ;)

And justifiably so! I'm sorry you have him graded out elite on the Thesmel scale. Maybe you just don't watch the games or just watch the defensive possessions. ;) any fan can see that the Cards #1 weakness is the poor play at LT.

If anyone needs to be banned its #75 from the Cards clubhouse. :D

Nobody should be allowed to ever wear that number again.

Until we are able to draft a skilled young qb, field an offensive line that can protect him, and pressure the opposing qb, most seasons will be.

I'll certainly follow and root. but there really is no reason for optimism.

And people question "the crowd" at UoP...

Winning does indeed matter when it comes to a fan base. Fans mostly never admit that of course, but it's fact...

This team COULD be worse than last years, and I fear it is.

You could be right but if so I think it's mostly due to injuries and a suspension. I think if you put each team (at it's best) on the field, this year's version would win more often than not. Unfortunately, I think our schedule has improved even more than we have and then factoring in the unplanned personnel losses and we're really up against it.

Every team has unplanned personnel losses. That is just part of the game.

Sure. But not every team has the same impact from those losses nor is it the same from year to year. IMO, we've been hit a little harder this year than usual. Maybe not as bad as the year we lost most of the team to a preseason game in Minny but still, considering we're only 3 weeks into the season it's looking like a bad year in that respect. Anyway, I'm not blaming our soon to be bad season on those losses. We were going to struggle even with a full squad, this just added to it.

Eh if we're going to be bad we may as well do it this year during a QB draft and while we have two powers in our division. Get our QB and in a couple years when SF and Seattle inevitably drop off we'll be theoretically ready to go.
