Based on what James has said, I think what he was thinking is Monty needs to go, but he wanted to wait till the offseason.
There seems like there is something off with Monty, like if he decides he doesn't like you he holds a grudge.

Favoritism likewise seemed to play a role as well. Aaron Holiday should have received more playing time the previous season.

Yes Monty’s refusal to play certain guys was maddening especially since the ones he did play sucked a lot of the time! I would be screaming at the TV like try someone else off the bench you freaking moron!

I doubt if they will now trade Ayton especially considering the signings in the last day. They seem to have filled all of their needs except for a backup pg. I'm not sure what they would want or really get for Ayton that would help them.

They're set at backup PG. Payne, Goodwin, and Saban Lee on a Two-Way. That's 3 backup PG's. We don't need another.

These lowlights are gross, but they are just that, lowlights. Obviously that is not who he is all the time. Similar to what happens when you only watch someone's highlights.
Vogel has also been vocal about the fact that he has already been in contact with Ayton about finding a role that he will be happy with. Maybe they will find that role and maybe they won't, but we know what he is capable of when he is playing with motivation.

I still don't know the best answer for the original question, but DA seems slightly less overpaid, after this week's free agency craziness. 
If Ayton is not dealt, I'll put some of my hopes on the new coach (and the departure of the old one).

Steven Adams casting lots of shade DA's way. That one needs to be forwarded to him. Maybe it's SA pushing for a DA trade. If we could, I would consider doing it.

I've already tried to go there twice without signing in. Maybe signing in is a new requirement.

Sign in, there's a limit and I'm not sure what it is if you aren't signed in. It's 600 for unverified accounts, which would be you and I, unless you pay for Twitter premium.
