I like Steven Adams, but this is basketball we are talking about, not the WWE.

You can be a nice guy and an enforcer.

I don't know if Adams is the guy we need but he is 100% an enforcer and one of the toughest dudes in the NBA.

Adams is smart, protected the children. Its debatable imo, he's just so much stronger it looks like he's enforcing, but that was a legit screen as he didn't shove and his shoulder or stick a leg out.

It was also revenge for crap Beverly had been pulling.

He wouldn't have done that to most other players... he was enforcing.

He's also gotten into it repeatedly with other chippy players, like Paul and Crowder.

In the 5 games DA played against Denver he was the team’s 3rd highest scorer in 3 of 5.

His 4 points on May 5th was 4th in team scoring behind Warren and Payne who tied for 3rd with 7-points each. On 05/07 Shamet was the third highest scorer and he’s gone.

The playoff dysfunction of this team goes beyond Ayton.
Yes but the dysfunction that's making 132 mil will get called out. We just want him to earn his paycheck.

Gambo saying again today he doesn't think Suns will trade Ayton. Making it sound like the offers haven't been good enough, and Vogel wants to keep Ayton.

Take this for what it's worth.

Probably nothing happens and he will say there was a huge deal that fell through last minute or when something happens its like oh I told ya..

Everything I see from Flex is just piggy backing off what someone else has said..

Draymond is not a center. you are talking about whoever is our other forward, and yes they should be able to shoot the 3. The center on the other hand needs to stay by the basket.
No, but he plays there quite often. They still had a quality big guy doing all of the work you say that they didn't need.

More specifically, that if the Suns don't get solid rotational players in return? They are not interested in moving him.

I said we don't need an offensive minded center, yes we very much need one for defense and rebounding.

Even if you call Draymond a center he is far from an offensive weapon.

Draymond is one of the best playmaking bigs in NBA history, his passing is a huge part of their offense.

Yep. I think the rumors about teams being interested in him are probably legit but they go away quickly when they learn it isn't a fire sale. We might be a motivated seller but we can't afford to not get back decent value for him.

People keep talking about 18 and 10

But this is a what have you done for me lately league - and dynasty or not - Denver is top dog right now - and Ayton isn't doing a damn thing

That isn't 18 and 10

That's 10.8 and 8

Against a team we'll most definitely be seeing again. I can't believe this is still a debate if it's a ring we're after because Ayton is not the answer and he's got way too much of the pie

That's not even counting the game he sat out. How do you finish the game, show up to and finish practice, but then not play in an elimination game? I'm no Dr mind you, but I'd say this patient needs a heart transplant

10.8 and 8 and a scratch

And nobody wants him now because there's this thing called the internet

There was a viral video of our guy shoeing away imaginary butterflies behind the damn backboard while Jokic is putting in work. There's another vid of him going deaf while Book and Durant plead with him during a time out, and that's to go on top of the same vid from last year when he checked out

How could Booker possibly trust this guy in battle again?

Wow 2 FTs in that game

You know what doesn't also get you 18/10 or a chance to compete with Jokic? Cap space you can't use, crappy assets or bench warmers. You will get no argument from me it's not a great idea to pay Ayton that kind of cake. However, you can't get rid of him for nothing. I am hoping Frank can revive his value enough to move him at the deadline.

That team was awful.

The Nets record with KD, Harden and Irving was 13-3. Small sample size but they were dominant when they played together and likely win the title if Harden doesn't go down against the Bucks.

Is that what we're going to solace in if we're bounced early from the playoffs, our record when our big 3 is healthy? They don't hang banners because of a teams record when healthy and they don't delay the playoffs for injuries.

Yeah that's not the point. The point is that pointing to the Nets big 3 as proof that this won't work is flawed because they were quite good when they were on the floor. If this trio can stay on the floor they should be damn good.

The playoffs are a different animal. What did they do there? The Suns went 64-18 and lost to the Mavericks. That's a much bigger sample size. Cherry picking data can work for or against anything, what matters is banners and rings.

Yes, his name was Draymond Green.
That team was not awful. If you ever saw them all play when healthy - which was literally only like 10 games - they were scary good.

Again Draymond Green is not an offensive player. My entire argument is we don't need an offensive Center because we have one of the best trio's of scorers EVER.

Well yeah, that's literally all that matters no matter how you build your roster.
