Has no clue how to mentally prepare a team for a game. Has no clue with in game decisions at all. CAse in point(down 2 TDs 6 minutes left no hurry up offense)

Unfortunately we're in a lose/lose situation. The product on the field is horrific and only slightly better than what Denny inherited and there's glaring holes on the roster inlcuding at the two most important positions on the field. But the problem is we'll never get a decent coach to come here if we can Denny two years in.

I've been one of Green's biggest supporters up to now, but I voted "no". If Green is back then next year will be more of the same IMO.

You can't rebuild a garbage team in 2 years. If we suck again next year fire his ass.

One more year.

I think he gets one more year...anything less than a playoff birth and he needs to be fired...but who would want this job?

Forget decent, hire Jim Johnson from the Eagles for the love of God hire the man, he said he'd coach the team.

HIRE THE MAN OH THE HUMANITY OH LORD JUST HIRE HIM ALREADY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ARRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Ok now I'm better, we won't hire him, I know that, probably for the best but why does every gigantic teetering decision have to got the wrong way?????

They really liked him and he lost out at the last second to Green because Green was proven.... CALL HIM!!!

I voted no. I think the who will replace him thing is overblown, will we get Jimmy Johnson or Bill Walsh of course not. But NFL coaching jobs are rare, I gotta believe someone out there so wants to be an NFL coach they will take this job, we just have to find the right person among those desperate enough to take our job.

Of course.

But I suppose most people will say NO, but then what?

Who you gnna bring in?

Prepare yourself for another 3-4 years of "rebuilding"

Ask yourself this. If these rumours are true, why does DG want out of his contract? If you dont think it has anything to do witht he way this franchise is run and who makes the ultimate decisons you would be wrong.

I, like everyone else, am tired of the penalties, the lack of discpline, the atrocious ST play, but for all you geniuses who think this is all DG's fault you have another rude awakening when the WORST TEAM IN ALL OF PROFFESSIONAL SPORTS-your cardinals, go another decade w/o even sniffing the playoffs.

If this were in the business world and this company had the amount of turnover these Cardinals do, the busniness would have been bankrupt years ago.

So you can all chime in with "Bring in Tom Moore (who is 106 by the way), or Norv turner (who couldnt coach his way out of his own ass) but facts are facts. Tis team was way overestimated at the beginning of the year, it is still inflated with players who make too much money and do not perform (Big, Dockett, Ross, etc) and whomever will come in will again revamp a terrible offensive line.

So as sick as I am of DG, yes thats right, I dont like the man as coach but have refrained from attacking him like some of the other clueless wonders on this board, b/c unlike you , I know that anyone you bring in will only put the franchise back another 3-4 years.

I hear about the remarkable turnaround of the way this franchise does business, but make no mistakes, all those former players who bad mouth this franchise, all those good players the Cards let go via FA, and the fact that they still dont spend the money they should including leaving large amounts of cap space each year, still indicate to me this franchise has a long way to go.

You can place all the blame on one man, but it would be short sighted to do so.

I voted no, but what kind of results do you expect after a loss to the Texans.

I would much rather see an ownership change. Even if we could somehow reanimate Vince Lambardi, we would still suck. I gotta believe the 98 playoffs, was some sort NFL move, just to try and spark some interest in this lifeless team.

Not the worst team in proffessional sports it hasnt. Even the Benglas, who were still head and shoulders above the Cards as far as a franchise goes, are just now looking like players 3 years into Lewis's contract!

Sorry Russ but that is just plain dumb.

Let DG go so we can get someone who will take the job because, "eh NFL coaching jobs are rare, and I am desperate"

When?

Name the time and I will determine if it compares to this situation.

try the 2-14 Bengals who were terribel under Dick Lebeau The next year under their new coach are a very respectable 8-8.

Or a very Bad Dallas team that had about 4 wins the year before Parcells gets there. The VERY NEXT year they are 10-6 and in the playoffs.

There are many more examples King.

Also Denny gets no breathing room like he needs three years thats just a piss poor excuse to justify his TERRIBLE ON FIELD COACHING BLUNDERS!

Valid point the poll should probably be posted later next week when people aren't so mad.

THe reason I used so few words in posting it was to try and avoid jading peoples opinion but minutes after this loss the poll IS pretty meaningless.

Prior to Marvin Lewis they were not. They were considered by most to be the most inept franchise in football until the last three years.
