Believe me, I'm first in line to see Porter leave, but it's probably too late in the season. If you shake up the coaches now it's just going to make thing worse. First you have chemistry, then new plays & sets to learn, etc.

Porter has the right philosophy, the Suns don't have the right personnell to implement it
hmmm lets see who's still around...What about having Gentry take over? He's certainly very familiar with the team and I think they'd respect him.
How about the Suns have the right personnel but the wrong coach to implement it.
He wants to work inside out. He wants to have guys focus more on defense, he wants guys to slow down, suck up the shot clock and make the opposing defense work against the Suns for a full 24 seconds and take smart shots. Thats a winner's attitude and thinking right there. Can't blame him for guys wanting to shy away from contact and refusing to work on securing the boards or take pride in their defense.
If you mean the personnell they have now - go back to run and gun and set up for another awesome regular season and piss poor playoff run?

How about they bench Nash, and start Grant Hill at the point,
PG - Hill
SG - Richardson
SF - Matt Barnes
PF - Stoudemire
C - Shaq
LOL.. I'm just saying, we might be able to stop SOMEONE then.
Seriously, Nash can't score like he used too but more importantly he gives up too many points to run a more contemporary offense.
Were we watching the same game? Cause Porter called some horrid plays at the end of the game. Then he went to hack a Bowen. Also, why is JRich just standing at the 3 point line? Why did Barbosa get spotty minutes?
Porter can't coach.
Just wanting or thinking something does not mean you get it. This transfers over into just about every realm of life. Talking a good game and playing a good game are two completely different things.
Yes, I want the Suns to run because they have the personnel to run. The way the Suns are playing now, they may not even make the playoffs. If they do, they look to make an early exit with Porter coaching.
Are you kidding, didn't they come back from a 12 point deficit and and cut it down to 4 or 5 by going screen and roll with Amare and Nash? Finally Amare started playing smart because he knocked down 3 J's in a row, Bonner came out on him the next couple of times, Amare made him pay by going inside. Richardson is at the 3 point line because he can spread the floor. Play him to his strengths like the Spurs play Mason and Finley to their strengths. Let those guys camp out while they run the Parker/Duncan or Ginobilli/Duncan pick and roll because more times than not it will require the attention of an extra defender, they kick it out and they get an open shot. I've never liked Barbosa, they should've traded him to get an adequate backup combo guard. The man needs to shoot 50% from the floor to prove his playing time on the floor because he can do little else without the ball in his ends.
