Yes we apparently did watch 2 different games because you are either woefully ignorant, dense, or intellectually dishonest. Can be all 3 but it can't by none of them. For starters, for the 2nd time, it was a 70 yard run and it was a fluke. New Orleans was looking for us to pass and we threw in a run and caught them off guard then for the rest of the game we could only muster 31 rushing yards. This is a fact as much as you want to deny it.
And since you like to cherry pick games, let's harken back to a Monday night in 2006. You remember. The then undefeated and eventual NFC champion Bears were in town on a night where we held their offense to zero TD's and we led 20-0 at halftime then 23-3 in the 3rd quarter when Matt Leenert was sacked, fumbled, and it was returned for a TD but we still had a 23-10 lead going into the 4th quarter when Dennis Green put the ball into his back pocket and began slamming Edge into the line time and time again. We ran the ball 38 times that game with Edge carrying it 36 of those times for a whopping 55 yards and he ended up fumbling for a TD. So, how did running the ball almost 40 times work out that game? I mean, go back and look at the play by play for that game and count how many times it says, "Edgerrin James right tackle for no gain" or -1 yard or 2 yard.
