scott bordow @sbordow

Sarver said he was spoiled first four or five years as owner with Nash, etc. Made him impatient. Now fully committed to youth, draft

Sarver on his patience: I'm not a paitent person, to be honest with you, but I'm more worried about bringing a championship to this city.

James Jones? What an odd hire. Why not hire Socks Perry?? This is a non-factor imo.

i was hoping they hired John Calipari to be GM/HC since we have a mostly kentucky roster. Now that would be newsworthy.;)

James Jones was a surprise hire for me but it seems like the Suns were interested in him for some time. He was formerly the secretary-treasurer of the National Basketball Players Association which gives him some experience.

McDonough said he and Sarver have followed Jones' post-Suns career closely, and had several discussions about planning to bring him aboard once his playing career ended.

Jones welcomed the opportunity to return to the Valley, calling it "home."

Formerly the secretary-treasurer for the National Basketball Players Association, Jones comes to the Suns after most recently appearing in 48 regular-season and eight playoff games for the Eastern Conference Champion Cleveland Cavaliers in 2016-17.

"It seemed like the perfect spot to invest my energy," said Jones, who said his experience with collective bargaining negotiations gave him a good perspective in preparation for his new position.

The key thing for me is the Suns extended Ryan McDonough. I'm glad Robert Sarver has learned patience.

Behind you
The suns are paying him to help the rest of the league.
If he managed an NFL team he'd be Rod Graves
Ryan has no ability to see talent
Team has NOT won under his tenure
He's given away an all star player in Thomas for peanuts
He gave away PG to Miami
He lost the draft pick
He payed a average player super money

Anyone still on his side is either dumb or dumber

You can follow him to the bottom of the ocean....that's where he's comfortable.

There are a lot of details you leave out or do not know about. Perhaps a lot of reading is in order.

The Suns trading the Lakers pick for Knight was McDonough's primary mistake given the circumstances.
