Sin City Recut & Extended DVD Details
Source: DVDAnswers.com
September 9, 2005

It will surprise no one that, after the bare bones release of Sin City on DVD, Dimension Home Entertainment will bring to stores a "Recut & Extended" version on December 13. DVDAnswers.com says the set will include both the 124 minute theatrical release and a 147 minute extended cut, along with a ton of features.

You can learn more about those features at the link above.

You got to be guy to appreciate it I think. The complete opposite of a chick flick. My Girlfriend hated it as well, but I loved it. Havent met a women yet that liked it.
I think that's true for the most part. I really enjoyed it, but my wife wasn't too impressed.

I really liked it. One question, what was Hartnett's role? Was he just in it to tie up loose ends and start and end the movie? Also, I loved Rourke and the guy from Carnivale did a great job too.

Saw the movie over the weekend. The movie was not as good as I expected.

I had really high expectations for this movie.

Loved the acting jobs of Wood, Murphy, and Rourke.

I can understand people not liking the film. It's different, and those who are weak-minded and closed to new experiences might not enjoy it.

I didn't see it sooner because I just let it sit and collect dust on my shelf while I watched TV shows. After seeing 300 before Sin City, it raised my expectations of a Frank Miller film. I recognize that Rodriguez did much of the directing, but I still expected more.

I did enjoy the film, don't get me wrong, I just expected more.

My wife and I watched this the other night and we just absolutely loved it! 4 1/2 out of 5 stars. Neither of us usually go for this type of movie, but this was done perfectly, IOHO. Great stuff!

This was so great after seeing it again. I can’t believe I never saw the sequel but I heard it was trash so I’ll pass.

I thought the sequel was ok, but the first one was far, far better......
