Skelton has regressed and I'm willing to admit he may never have been the answer at QB. However, the offensive line is the primary problem (along with the coaching aspect) with the offense. Neither Kolb nor Skelton deserve this treatment. I just do not think it is fair to cast undue criticism on Skelton when the Cardinals make him a passing QB when the Niners knew it was coming all night long.

Totally agree the point is we can't win with him at QB. So we have to improve the other areas AND hopefully at QB.

I think Gruden is a photo opp kind of guy but he knows QB's and he kept saying it last night Arizona is in trouble with that OL and John Skelton at QB. Or they need to decide if Skelton is the guy etc. he was being polited, he was clearly saying this guy aint the answer. Neither is Kolb. With a better OL I think Kolb has a better chance of being a stopgap but I'd rather try and get a solution.

What's really amazing is that Double Deuce has completed almost 65% of his passes over the last two games. He makes some really good throws but when he misses....they're just awful.

Scud was under 55% in 10 of 12 games. :bang:

Just like when I slam WR for dropped passes, it is the clutch throws on 3rd down that he misses that are showing me he can't get the job done.

To quote Adrian Wilson, "Stats are for losers."

Been debating stats since week 1. Whether it be Kolb or Skelton, stats are worthless if they amount to 3 points and a loss.

I'd rather have Double Deuce from last year, throwing 50% and winning the game.
