Good job people.

But how about some guys with a little more than a name attached to him.

How about the Bear's running back who was supposed to be the next Gale Sayers !

I just remember his last name was Anderson.

Didn't Neal Anderson rush for over 3400 yards and 33 TDs from 1988-90?

After that the Bears began to run Brad Muster some and cut down on Andersons carries.

Probably correct. Gator Flop was my reference to the infamous " Gator Flop " of 1971, which just can't be forgotten by the U of Miami faithful. We dig it up whenever we can, even if it is misapplied or inappropriate. :deadhorse2:

Thunder Thornton

He's on the 1963 Cardinals highlights DVD I have. Crow was out much of that year and Joe Childress and Bill Triplett did most of the running. Even back in the 1960s the Cards were going with two RBs!

Thornton averaged 5.8 yards per carry but only gained 544 yards in his 4 seasons with the Cardinals.

From Brad Muster I go to:

#83 Stephone Paige, WR KC Chiefs. An absolute STUD in video games.

Steve DeBerg to Paige was deadly.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

After Steve DeBerg I go to look for Dave Krieg, QB Seahawks

and find

John Friesz, QB - Didn't this guy have 1 good year, or 1 good 1/2 year?

Seahawks WR Daryl Turner was a great pick for scoring only fantasy league teams. Turner had only 101 catches in the NFL but scored 36 TDs!

How about Tootie Robbins!!! In my opinion the strangest first name in the
history of the league. Others, Mike Sensibaugh and Steve Pisarkiewicz. I'm
suprised his name even fit on the jersey. I remember him playing in a game in
the '70's when Hart was hurt, and boy was he bad. Strange names and even
stranger football. How I have followed this team 32 years is beyond me. There
has to be more.

Unfortunately.

I also sadly remember when that idiot Bob Holloway was starting Tim Van Galder and Gary Cuozzo ahead of Jim Hart. Caused quite a ruckus in St.Louis if I recall correctly.
