Shabby episode that led to an awesome preview for upcoming episodes. This show is going to rock in the 2nd half.

Yeah, I was fast-forwarding through this episode once I heard this kid from mexico speak without a hint of an accent.

But holy crap, I saw the preview for next week...dang!!!!

Can't wait!

Was that a preview for next week or was it a preview for the second have of the season?

Either way when they said something about Lex building an army the that last shot they showed Kent and his other 4 buddies walking away from an explosion was rockin and totally pumped me up for the rest of the season. Not a great episode but the previews completely made up for it.

Yeah, episode blew except for the very ending with Lex and 33.1 or whatever it's called.

Those were scenes for the next half of the season, and how cool will it be to see part of the Justice League working together.

Just need Batman now!

good stuff

Pick them up on dvd. The show has been excellent to good throughout its run. People say that S4 was not that great, but I enjoyed that too.

Smallville is one of the best shows ever! I own all the seasons on dvd and there are some awesome extras including a hilarious gag reel. It's definitely a series worth investing in. It never gets boring and reruns are still just as good as the first time. I can't wait for the new episodes.

When do the seasons usually come out on disc?

I stopped watching midway through season 5 (I think) and I just picked up seasons 4 and 5. I might wait to re-watch the first half of the 5th season and the "new" shows (new to me) until I can watch 6 straight through, too.

I also own seasons 1 and 2...I thought I had three, but I can't seem to find it since we moved. :(

September each year. Every show is a DVD show for me, so I know how you feel.

Yeah, I think it's like the second week in September. I have bought all of my season sets on eBay believe it or not. I can recommend some great sellers it you guys are interested. After shipping and handling and paying for them to be here in two days I always pay less than $55 dollars per season set. Great deal, especially seeing as how I don't have to leave home.

Wow! Well obviously you are getting the better deal. The local Walmart doesn't even offer Smallville season sets and 27 miles down the road to a store that does offer them, it's $48 plus the cost of gas .... I'll stick with eBay.

Well, I am pretty frugal, and I don't mind waiting until I can get near the $30.

You should try Half.com or Amazon marketplace, you can find good deals there too.

If you ever need me to pick something up for you, I would do it and ship it to you. (wherever you like)

Thanks for those sites, I'll check those out as well. And thanks for the offer, I'll let you know. :)

EDIT: I love Smallville so much that I have to get it as soon as it comes out, sometimes I'll even pre-order just to know I'm getting a copy. At least it's a safe addiction. lol

When you preorder at Amazon, the price is usually in the high $30's to low $40's. You should be able to save quite a bit of money by using Amazon. The shipping is free over $25 too.

Awesome! I think I'm going to try out Amazon. I think I was just addicted to eBay because of the whole bidding thing ... the love for gambling runs in my family. :D

I once bid on a baby swing and the bid got up to $100 ... good thing it hadn't met it's reserve .... I don't even have kids!

Gambling is a whole 'nother thread. I gamble all the damn time. Thank goodness I actually win, or my wife would have left me a long time ago. :)

I went home early from work yesterday and watched most of the second half of season 5 (I have three left). Man, what a good show.

The last episode I saw was the one where clark had spoken with his father from beyond the grave and he told him that Lionel knew his secret, and then Clark confirmed it by saving Lionel and Martha from a free-fall in an elevator. Lana is currently banging Lex, too. *****.

If you haven't seen any episodes past where you currently are, Little Miss Lana will have some surprises for you. This show just keeps getting better and better.
