Anyone else getting a bit concerned about John Brown STILL in the concussion protocol with no clear timetable for a return? He's missed the majority of camp and the first preseason game and will likely miss the next... No Bueno... [emoji45]

I think he has only missed like a week or so? better to ease him back than to rush him in to meaningless games and make it worse.

He should be back this week. No need to press the issue this early in Training Camp. We need him healthy for the Regular season.

Haven't heard his name or seen him in any of the practice footage this week... Anyone know if he is actually on the field??

If it were the regular season, I would be worried. He is a vet at this point and they are being cautious with him IMO.

With a player the caliber of Jaron Brown waiting in the wings, I am not the least bit worried.

John Brown is a good #3 WR, and I would like to have him out there, but at worst to run Fitzgerald, Floyd, Jaron Brown, JJ Nelson, and Britten Golden/Chris Hubert out there for a couple games is not too shabby.

Tho it has been said 1000 times, the Cardinals wide receiver position is RIDICULOUSLY stacked.

I think john could be more than a #3 easily, hopefully he comes back soon. he is a major threat and a big reason why fitz was so big last year, JB takes the top off the defense.

This is his second concussion in 2 years. Anyone not concerned is brain dead. JB has been in the protocol for awhile now and still not been cleared to even practice non contact drills.
Will he come back by game one? Probably
The concern isn't that he comes back, the concern is he can't keep taking the hits and stay on the field. If he gets another one they may have to shut him down for the year.
Anyone with half a brain knows each concussion comes easier and easier...the amount of force needed is far less with each one. Being a slot receiver isn't the best place for a guy with conclusion concerns.

Don't think Hubert would make the roster over Jaxon.

I'd be a little mad if Golden made the roster over Jaxon again, tbh.

When was his first? I swear on the radio they said this one was his first.

Jaxon Shipley is a nice player and all, but what role would he fill ?

I am a little concerned, but he has probably the best timing with Palmer of any receiver. If anyone didn't need to work on that during meaningless games, it is him.
