Yes, when I was young. I was talking about the fact that they were/are both excellent receiver type backs. You're right though, Craig was built more like a TE while Bush is built more like a WR.
Sorry if that sounded jerky. Both are good receiver backs.

He's not a bust. He's a Roger Craig type player and playing pretty good so far. Was he worth the 2nd overall pick? Too early to tell. Overall, I think the Saints have gotten what they were expecting.

No that's clearly not true they thought they drafted a RB that would eventually replace Deuce, now Pierre Thomas is more likely to do that than Bush.

He's a very good player but they didn't pick him as a receiver/kick returner.

Remember in the offseason before last year his own teammates and coaches were quoted saying he goes down too easily and runs out of bounds too much, that's because they still hoped he could be a real RB, now they've accepted he won't be that and they're using him more the way they should.

Last year bush was very much a bust, Deuce got hurt, they desperately needed Bush to step up and they got less than 600 yards rushing and 5.7 yards per catch. This season he's been better.

The NFL is so weird. Pierre Thomas makes Reggie expendable in that offense. Kinda.

Difficult question. Has he underwhelmed? Totally until this year. But does his ability and skill set still warrant the #2 pick in hindsight? Yes.

Reggie Bush can run the ball, but his style of running does not fit well with the Saints and has a bad case of happy feet. If give you him a ZBS (or a better line - their run blocking is WEAK), he'll churn yards on the ground like gangbusters. I also don't think he's that good of a receiver despite his numbers. He's played very well this year until he got injured, but I think they force him the ball too much. He seems to touch it every other play and it doesn't help him much especially since he's such a feast-or-famine player.

If he ever becomes decisive with running the rock and stay relatively healthy, he'll take that next step. He does need to be starting as the KR, ridiculous that he's not.

I think Bush would be awful in Denver, Shanahan would hate him. The main problem he had with Bell(Tatum) and Portis(early in his career) was they danced too much. He wants his RB to make one cut and go, Bush won't do that.

He'd get more yards in Denver than he does in NO, but he'd either have to learn the one cut and go or Shanahan would get furious at him for constantly trying to break every run outside.

The main difference was Craig was such a tough runner never stopped moving his legs, never went down at first contact.

Both were good receivers, Bush is just a totally different type of runner he was actually sliding down to avoid hits as a rookie like a QB.

AP has lived up to what RB was supposed to be. Bush is a great situational player, that's it.

He is what he always was. When he came out, many said he was not an every down back. He is not Frank Gore, Stephen Jackson, et al. He is an edge guy. He is what Michael Vick should be, if he comes back. A 20 play guy.

Mario Williams , in retrospect, was the better pick by Houston.

I would suggest, he is a bust if someone thought he would be a prototype RB who runs between tackles. He never did that and never will.

BTW, can Kim get a leg transplant. That chick is stumpy.
