BTW, Jake Tsakalidis is now starting for the Grizzlies. It took him forever to become more than a deep bench scrub. He'd never be suited to the Suns pace, but he's just one more example of a big man that is very slow to develop.

I trust you saw that he played only eight minutes last night, tallying three points, a rebound, two turnovers, and two fouls. I wouldn't exactly say he's arrived yet. Remember, he had quite an impressive run of games toward the end of his sophomore season, and those didn't pan out either.

okay okay lets all calm down....

yes our big man depth is not very good, but the six game lead we have built has allowed us to kind of glide until Amare gets back...

If KT gets back with about 5 games to go, this is actually a good thing....Working in with Amare may take some time, but he has the teams pace down now and is familiar with the players.....All this running is probaly wearing him down anyway (as well as ALWAYS taking the best big on the other team) so i like having him ready to go by the playoffs with hopefully a healthy Amare and Brian Grant at our disposal as well

If we were going to have an injury this is the best guy to have it to at the best time of year....everything will be just fine....

One thing though....i would go put some money on the Rockets for their upcoming game against us....with Thomas out and them smarting after the beat down we gave them a few weeks ago, their prode will be on the line....now if we win THAT game i will be very impressed

And just to add to the "Stereo-typical Suns fan on this board gripes..."

We should have kept JJ (but not at 70 million.....i think we are all happy how this turned out but JJ has turned into the player i envisoned he would taking over at the end of games and getting his on most every night....to bad he doesnt have Chris Paul back there with cuz that would make all the difference....

I'm not sure how anyone can say either way on Sarver....hes been frugal at times (and spent money but part of the skeptic in me wonders if that was because he was just stepping in at the time) and if he lowballed D'Antoni like a report said out of SA, i'm way pissed....

Pay for what got you here Sarver....and that includes BC....i dont think the sky is going to fall if he leaves but you all shouldnt dismiss these ominous signs as nothing....

All the slurping of Sarver has got to stop though....I can't recount how many posts i have read saying " When has Sarver ever done this..." or "He's had nothing but success...". Bottom line is the guy rubs alot of people the wrong way, and hes not the free spending owner many of us seem to believe he is....

He's not the devil, and i feel i have a pretty even handed opinion on the guy....but he's making some decisions that seem more appropriate for the corporate board room rather than the NBA, where memories and reputations run long. This is something JC was a master of and is probaly the single biggest reason the Suns are looked upon so favorably around the league. I don't want that changing anytime soon....

And Brian Colangelo, as a drafter and as a guy who understands the cap is very very good at what he does.....His loss could be irrepreable if the right guy isn't brought in behind him.....this summer is important with Diaw and Barbosa coming up.....

How many players can the Suns add? I like Jawad Williams game and I know he's more of a Tim Thomas clone but he'd be about 1/3 the cost ;)

He can run and shoot - he's not a pure post player but being that I envisioned Tim Thomas as the perfect choice until I thought of cap cost :p

I don't see him playing the Center spot but if he can play alongside Pat Burke for 8 minutes a Game - Burke knows the system better than anybody here and I don't think he's that bad (Burke)... what would be easier to fit into a two 10 day contract addition... a banger that doesn't know where to be and can't shoot or a legit shooting, running athlete that can play the 4 and just play street ball? Most of the players that are listed as Free Agents probably wouldn't be able to help Team anytime soon... I'm hoping Williams is in NBDL?

NBDL is where to find someone and I'm not sure how well he's playing or if he's in that League but I'd rather have another Coach D type player than adding a slug. ;) Sure we could use a rebounder but not many rebounders that can fit into SUNS system would be available?

Mike Wilkinson was a decent 3PT shooter last year for a PF in College, I think he was a Senior but I can see Jawad being able to penetrate a lot more, assuming he makes his jumpers first... Chevon Troutman could shoot out to 18 feet and Juan Mendez from I remember could but again they aren't the penetrators that Jawad is and not sure their athleticism fits in this system, while I am confident JW can. Mendez was a small school player, so I'm not sure what to think...

If we need another 7' Footer than can shoot from perimeter and shot respectable in College and has some bulk - Dawid Przybyszewski*should be available... every player I mentioned should be available, I'm not gonna tell you these are mah guys but I envision a somewhat decent shooter... I have liked JW's game but if there's 1 Team in NBA he could have a spot with it's the Suns. Don't even look at Pryzbyszewski's College stats but just incase you do, check out his 3PT shooting ability ;)

I can go back 1 more year but I'd have-to look at my Collegiate books, I still have last years Draft Page on mah files...

I can't believe Sarver fractured Kurt Thomas's foot. What a cheapskate jerk! And I'm telling you, that Marcin Gortat trade is gonna come back to bite us.
