It is midnight in Little Rock. I just got in on a discussion on Sports Center of the Cards Monday night game. They said San Francisco had terrible game management. They also said there was really only one dominant team in the NFL and that was the Giants. How they left out Tennessee I do not know. They basically said the Cards had as good a shot in the playoffs as nearly every other team except the Giants. They noted, as we all know, we have no running game. I wonder if our GM and Coaches understand we have no running game? Will we address that through the draft or FA? We do not need another 30 plus year old expensive FA running back. These guys have the shortest careers of any position of any in the NFL. The average being only 4 years. Most teams are going with two good RB's rather than one back so as to keep fresh legs in the game. You are lucky to make it through a season without your primary RB getting hurt. We sure need to make that a very high priority next season. Most of us thought we should have drafted a RB higher than we did this year. Anyway, we are getting some air time and some respect on TV these days. I like Hightower but he is no Adrian Petersen and he will likely be a backup type RB for his career.
