Nash with the turnover at the end really sealed it. I seriously can't remember a close loss this year when nash didn't turn it over close to the end.

Could it be scripted any better?

Just run of the mill Suns vs. Spurs.

Barbosa doing his typical "I just came off a bunch of 20 point games, but it's the Spurs so I'm going to completely disappear like I have IN EVERY GAME AGAINST THE SPURS FOR FOUR YEARS."? Check.

Nash playing too many minutes leading to a mental/physical breakdown at the end of a close game? Check.

Amare actually being interested in the game and having a good one, but as usual probably giving up at least 3 buckets to the Spurs' amazing ball movement by not wanting to play help D? Check.

Ginobili and Parker absolutely DISMANTLING this teams pathetic perimeter D? Check.

Refs getting baited into calling fouls on the Suns for Duncan and Ginobili flopping around like the Suns are playing with sledgehammers? Check.

Late game breakdowns? Check.

But, most importantly.. as always.. Gregg Poppovich versus the perpetually unimpressive Phoenix coaching staffs? Ahh yes, check.

Yeah, vintage baby.

The beginning of the end was CLEARLY the Hack-A-Bowen strategy. We NEVER recovered from that.

it's the same game it always is... a loss.

tonight was comical. from watching the Hack A Bowen completely blow up in our face... to hacka Bowen at the end of the game which gives them their choice of their shooters to shoot a FT AND get the ball... ye gads.

I watched it with my dad and just chuckled all the way through as he kept getting mad. I just couldn't understand why he kept getting mad as if he was surprised at what was happening.

lol it was a good game, on the funny side. Is anyone actually surprised??

I don't think so,
but the hack a bowen sure surprised me.
At least I was laughing through the end.

Like I said before, even a chicken mcnugget can coach better than porter. We cut it sooo close with grant hills and1, but I never cheered until i'm for sure.

And llike usual, we choked.

We simply are not contenders. I am one of those extremely positive fans to the point where I have thought the Cardinals were gonna be the best in the NFL the past 10 seasons in a row and even I can recognize this team isn't even close to being a contender. And it's not a couple of pieces away. It's a whole roster and a coach away so let's blow it up.

This is a horrible loss, they come out playing crisp and looked like they REALLY wanted this game and then lay an egg in the 2nd half.

I don't get this team sometimes, this is just another self loss, this is quite sad...

I am very disappointed.

I'm sorry but Porter has to go this turnover this is becoming horrible 19 turnovers when you have 0 in the first half wtf..... this team is showing nothing on trying to improve it eaither :(. we should have beat the spurs tonight but nope of course the turnovers cost us again ugh

To be fair it wasn't the typical late game Nash turnover of a bad pass or overdribbling. He just tripped unfortunately.

19 2nd half turnovers? Huh? Yahoo sports has the Suns with 7 2nd half turnovers which isn't that bad really.

This game also shows us that the turnovers and Amare's rebounding are minimal problems compared to our defense. We will never win with this roster because of our defense.

19 TO? I looked at the boxscore and it says 7.
But i agree, Porter is not an head coach material, he should stick to assisting. he just dosent have the grey matter

This game also shows us that all are turnovers and Amare are problems but not our main problem. We will never win with this roster because of our defense.

I would say the Amare that played tonight, which is the Amare we EXPECT every single freaking night, is pretty low on our list of problems. But it is discouraging when we get a strong night from him and almost no turnovers and still lose at home. Really frustrating, actually.

turnover after turnover after turnover my goodness. If they had just cut down half of those turnovers they would've won this game. The Suns defense is soo piss poor they've forced the Spurs into only 1 turnover in the second half wow. This team needs a roster change if its gonna make the playoffs.

We lost because we couldn't stop the penetration of the Spurs' guards, like any other game. If they seriously want to win and take a step forward, at least attempt to defend in the back court...

And communicate on defense, help each other out...

This is basic stuff, EVERY team should know and do...and yet, we struggle with it, go figure...
