On Wednesday the Spurs will visit the Suns. It will be a 7:30 p.m. game Arizona time. It is scheduled to be televised on FSAZ and ESPN.

Devin Booker is doubtful.

The Spurs are 4-2 while the Suns are 1-5.

It looks like with Canaan being listed as questionable, it will provide another opportunity for Okobo to get more playing time.

The smart move here would be sit to Canaan if he says he’s ready to play.

Let him really heal that ankle so that Okobo can get starting minutes and we can see some of Melton as well.

Based on Canaan’s comments after the last game, he’s noticing that Okobo is playing well in the mins he got from Canaan’s injury so he might try to play even if not fully ready just so that Okobo (and perhaps Melton) doesn’t take away his mins by the time he comes back.

Lets hope JJ can slow down and run the sets.

Well I expect another 20 point loss. But I’m excited to see what okobo has.

Okobo getting the start certainly gives fans another reason to watch. I'm excited as well.

Okobo and Bridges would be an exciting backcourt. Kokoskov should think about it.

I wonder how Warren feels that Jackson keeps starting over him despite Warren having outplayed him thoroughly this season.

Gambo said after the Grizzlies game that Warren was upset about Jackson starting over him and was sort of dogging it that game because of it.

I find it hard to believe that as Warren doesn’t appear to be that type of player but should still be frustrating for him as a far inferior player continues to start over him.

Warren could really help the spacing on the first unit as well as most teams double off Jackson since he can’t shoot at all.

There are all kind of tweaks and adjustments coach could make. Even if Ariza and Anderson continue to start, pull them earlier! Get some fresh legs in there for them old guys. JJ being a turnover machine???...well we have Bridges and Crawford, the offense should be going through Ayton anyway.

Warren has always been my guy. Heck I'd be pissed if was established as a legit NBA player, scored more and took care of the ball more than some 2nd year guy who continues to force things.

Warren and JJ are completely opposite players, Warren plays within the game and knows when to adjust, JJ is just out of control.

If this is true it is pathetic.

Starting does not give you a bigger contract or more respect. Production does. Production does not depend on starting, it depends on minutes, and if he does his job he will get minutes.

I hope he is not one of those victim mentality type of people. Produce at a high enough level and you will start, you will actually have the power to force it to happen if you still think you need it.

Warren should be getting more minutes though.

I bet Warren would rather play with Ayton then Tyson. He should start.
I don't think anyone on the team really enjoys playing with Tyson much. I'd wager the same goes for Josh as well.

Not if he's pouting.

I don't condone pouting but the Suns have given Warren reason to be upset. I've yet to see why Jackson should be starting over Warren other than he is an early draft pick.

How about the fact we need some scoring out of our bench?

Everyone get off Warrens back. If you dont get his beef you have never played organized sports that mattered. Not getting the start when you and the whole team know you deserve it, it is devastating.

If you earned it you should be starting. Forget all this superstitious paranoia about him not being as effective if he is starting. If you are playing well you deserve the minutes. If this crap continues where guys like Bridges are not getting more minutes in favor of bums like Anderson and Ariza, Igor will be in my doghouse along with Steve Wilks soon.

Learn to rotate guys and make adjustments. Thats what all great coaches in any sport do. Sticking with guys that are sucking hard is idiotic and unacceptable!

If this were a long-term arrangement, I might start Warren. But it isn't. It will be the third game tonight. Jackson can pass even if he has been suspect to start the season. He slides into the temp role better, imo.

If only they could switch out Jackson for Bridges or a shooter like Daniels. But this will do for now.
