That bit does annoy me. We just beat the Spurs, Shaq pulled in a fair few boards and we looked pretty good yet people still find something to complain about.

I agree, Giricek was a waste of space, We could have used DJ on the Flopinator. He shot 4/6 from 3

giricek is playing fine, DJs defense is great but his offensive airlball liabillity is tough, id stick with the vet who plays good D and at least has a track record of being able to shoot.

It's a fool's game to predict the future, but this game goes a long way towards answering some of the critics of the trade. We beat the best team in the west (sorry Lakers fans, but you haven't proved yourself in the playoffs yet) at full strength, we played defense, we picked it up in crunch time, and for me the thing that really sticks is 3/14 from 3-pt land, and most of those were open looks. If we had shot our normal percentage or better from there, we would have had an easy win by 10-20 pts. This team has a lot of potential. Whether it's realized remains to be seen.

My opinion is that D'antoni still needs to have more than 7 or 8 guys that are ready to play in the playoffs or we are one injury, suspension away from deep trouble.

Injuries aren't really bad luck because they happen all the time. We should expect them more than any team because of our playoff history last 3 years. We also start 3 mid 30's players and Amare(knees, suspension) and Bell(happened once with his calf and suspension)

We need two insurance players just in case. Hey why not DJ and Skinner? a small and a big that can play multiple positions. Come on get them ready. My hopes are up now. Just Do It.


This years playoffs are going to be unbelievably tough. If someone even misses a game it may be enough to knock us out if we cant put a ready body in place so the other regulars dont have to play extra minutes.

If the Suns lose any of their key guys for an extended period of time it won't matter who the backups are, they're screwed either way.

Although I think you could say the same for pretty much every team when it comes to playoff time.
