Lots of mismatch problems for the Spurs in this series. So, I'd say Lakers in 6.

You should pull for the Spurs.

Just kidding!

The last time I made this assertion, I think I got about 300 replies stating what a dumb argument this was.

Any news on the front runner for your coach?

Go Lakers. :)

Will the Lakers try putting Ariza on Parker like how we put Hill on Parker?

Somehow, in my fantasy world, both teams will find a way to lose this series

I dislike both teams immensely, but I don't hate the Spurs enough to root for the Lakers.

I predict several Big Shots by Bowen and Horry on Kobe and Sterns would advance on that.

Donald, doesn't Kobe have some back issue too? ;)

I said the same about NO, but I neglected effects of Big Shots Horry was capable of to get the best players on the other team out of the battle. So, you know Kobe wouldn't be avaible in any critical game, don't you?;)

This series can go either way. The series was split (2-2).
I say it goes 7 games and I have to take the champs on this one. Here is the breakdown of the 4 meetings

game one: 92-107 - Spurs win
Bynum Played
Duncan scored 5 points

game two: 102-97 - Lakers win
No Tony Parker
Bynum played

game three: 91-103 - Spurs win

No Gasol but Turiaf scored 14 points & Ginobili scored 12 points

game four: 106-85 - Lakers win

* No Ginobili ( highest scorer)
*Gasol (limited to 16 points)

Both teams missed key players in the last 3 meetings so I say this is a wash and I have to go with the Champs...just for that reason.

Parker>>>>Fisher
Kobe>Ginobili
Bowen > radmanovic
Duncan > Odom
Gasol > Oberto

Pop and jackson is a draw

benches are pretty evenly matched. the spurs bench is made up of veterans and people who have been there, the lakers bench is more of a young energy group. Different benches, equal in impact.

HCA- Lakers

Spurs in 7

Pop and Jackson is nowhere near a draw. Phil has dominated Pop head to head.

if the Suns can't win it, I sure as hell don't want Stern and his league of minions to.

This is a no-brainer for me. My hate for the Spurs is only a few years old. Three of the last four to be exact.
However, my disdain for the Lakers goes back decades, to Kareem beating up Alvan Adams in the late 70s to the Showtime Lakers running us out of the Madhouse in the 80s, to Shaq and Kobe. I respect them all, but dislike them nonetheless.

With the Spurs, it's only the current team and players that have bothered me. With the Lakers, the entire history of the franchise has frustrated the hell out of me.

Go Spurs!
