All in all pretty impressed - no problems with traffic, we were able to come in west to east on Glendale and get right in about 20 minutes before kickoff - getting into the stadium was easy - hardest part was the 15 minute walk from the parking spot into the stadium - didn't anticipate it being so long

was able to check out my seats - the two rows in front of us get condensation drip - but I really like my seats - 412, the row right infront of the gray cut-in - for waiting so long, they were pretty good

concessions went by pretty quick - we went to get food after the cards possesion with about 4 minutes left in the 2nd and were back in time to watch the Int TD - ran the card no problem - only complaint would be they were out of napkins and would only sell 1 beer per person, so I couldn't pick up the round...........

the sound was fine in my opinion - scoreboard was kind of smallish, but all in all it was pretty nice - i don't like it as much as Qwest (but that is my mecca..........) all in all I enjoyed it and didn't experience any of the issues so many others were complaining about

I highly recommend against the chicken tender meal...especially for the men, who are now the ones who have to deal with ridiculous bathroom lines.

My friend was driving down Glendale Ave. at 83rd Ave. at about 6:45pm. He didnt get in until about 2 minutes left in the half. Not only does Glendale have no clue on how to handle traffic, they also told him once he reached the entrance to lot E, that he couldn't enter, even though he had a pass, so they made him drive all the way down Bethany Home to 95th, then back to Maryland and they parked him in lot W. Parking IS A MESS. Glendale needs to seriously get a clue and turn those streets into one way streets in and out like Tempe. And if you have a pass, you should get a spot.

Positives, the sound system in the upper level was a HUGE improvement, concessions better, and the scoreboard was utilized. On game day, I guess the plan will be tailgate 4 hours before and at least an hour after.

i seriously don't get how parking is that messed up - do people not see the maps on their passes showing the route to get in?!

Glendale Ave was wide open when I got in - seriously, i've waited longer at glendale and grand than to get into the stadium

and i dug the chili/cheese dog

I left Tempe at 5 p.m. I took the 202 to I-10 but grew tired of going 6 mph so I took the I-17 up to Northern. From there, surface streets were pretty much clear. I was around Northern and 91st at 6:45, but didn't get into the stadium until the big long Broncos TD. Shortly before halftime I had a jumbo big red dog with a side of chili. Both the hot dog and the chili were luke warm. The first stand I was at was 10 people deep in each line, but a staff person told me to go to the next stand. It was only 3 people deep. Getting home was no problem.

I thought this game was much smoother. Traffic cops were directing traffic and the searches were very quick. I thought the concessions were kind of slow, but all in all a great expierence. Much better than the first game. Props to Glendale and the Cards for learning from the problems the first home game had.

I-10 that time of day is always like that - i left work at central & thomas at 5 and got back to goodyear around 6, which is fairly normal - i took surface from goodyear into the stadium and the loop looked a little backed up

This game went much, much better. I got off on 83rd at 6:00 went up to Camelback and came in from the East. I was in the stadium at 6:20. Really, it was a piece of cake. Got a cheeseburger and fries, both hot and decent and was done with dinner 10 minutes before kickoff.

I hit 91st and camelback at 6, parked by 6:10 and in the stadium by 6:25. No issues, it was super easy and smooth.

When it's 1st and Goal from the three, is the scoreboard capable of showing "1 & G" instead of "1 & 3"?

There was a series last night where I thought the Cardinals had a first and goal, but the scoreboard wasn't showing it.

The scoreboard was screwed up all night. Whoever was running the downs/yards to go was not doing a very good job.

I was out of town for the Pitt game--

parking was a breeze-- I jumped off the 101 (or is it the 202 there?) going south at Northern at 6:05 pm -- right to 99th ave, hardly any traffic, south to bethany home and into the west parking lot at 6:15

I'm I just don't see the reason to complain here ???

Your buddy was still driving to the game a 6:45pm and was surprised that he got into the game late ?? With 65,000 people at the stadium, am I missing something here ?

I wasn't able to make it to the game but I did talk with one of my coworkers who also parks in the East Green parking lot. He said that this time they opened 2 extra lanes entering the parking lot that were not used last time. That was my biggest gripe about the traffic control for the game against Pittsburg. It obviously helped a lot. Why they didn't figure that out for the first game still baffles me but it's all water under the bridge now.

Sounds like the concession lines were better also.

Can't wait for the 49er game!

I could leave my house in Austin Texas at 8AM on Sunday and be in the parking lot at SDS by 11AM for the Derminators tailgate.

Probably take longer to get to Glendale though.

I've got to make it to a game at Qwest Stadium. It looks like an awesome stadium also.

I went to get some drinks near the end of the 1st quarter. The line was short and slow, but it wasn’t the fault of the crew. The guy in front of me spent over 5 minutes ordering his stuff (yes, I timed it). He made a mistake by not asking for a souvenir cup, so they had to start over. Then he had to argue with them for taking the caps off of his waters. They tried to explain to him that it was an NFL rule, but I guess he just couldn’t understand that. Then, after they ring up all $39 of his food, he then decided to take the time to put down his kid and grab his wallet.

I get the feeling that there are a lot of people at the stadium that haven’t been to a major sporting event before.

You should have stayed on the I-10 because right after the I-17 everything went smooth. I was there around the same time and got to the stadium @ 6:15.

Traffic was horrific on the 1-10 West. We left my office in Tempe at 5pm and the HOV lane was bumper to bumper all the way to 75th Ave. Once we got on the 101 North it was a breeze. We finally got in at 6.45pm.

We did have a run in with an "Escalator Monitor" who would not let us go up to the upper deck to visit our friends. We were like WTF?? People can come down, but we can't go up?? So we tried the elevator and one of the security guys said 'why don't you use the public escalator?'

We explained to him they wouldn't let us up, so he came with us to argue with Grandma - he then called in HIS supervisor and while Grandma and Sup #2 argued, Andy (Sup #1) said he would personally escort us upstairs. We joked that Andy would get fired over this - but he said the whole point is to 'not harrass the guests and he didn't care if he got fired.'

Way to go Andy!

I left my home in the far south east valley at 4:15 the worst traffic I encountered was thru downtown and the Deck Park Tunnel. We exited 75th ave to get something to eat, continued on to Camelback, and then to 91st drove right in and parked in 5 min. traffic was moving well to the east green lot when we got to the stadium around 5:30. I went to buy a Leinart jersey walked straight to the counter no waiting. My daughter and I went to the concession stand at the 2 min. warning, after a stop at the cash machine and waiting for our food we were back in our seats before halftime. Sound in the upper deck was great. Only issue I had was from section 452 the score board was small and hard to read. We couldn’t see the Bigger of the big screens so we had to look to the smaller of the end zone screens or across to the far side line. My daughter even commented that it was almost to cool in our section, never thought I would say that about an August home game. I think that the real issue is that we’ve rarely had to deal with 63,000 people at a cards game. I guess it’s the price we must pay for the prospect of success.

Thankfully the traffic on Sundays at 10AM-12 won't be near as bad as it has been for the evening games.

We might want to get to the Stadium on Sunday for the Monday Night Game though.
