A sad ending to the Coyotes season, but Detroit deserved it. They're just a really talented team. Hopefully it is true that you have to lose in the playoffs before you can win and the Coyotes will go farther next season.

It was an amazing season for this team and I was proud to be in the stands for it. I was proud of the fans, too, for their salute at the end of Game 7. Phoenix fans know what they're doing...I don't care what anyone else says about it.

We were all shouting at the tops of our lungs "Lets Go Coyotes!" It was an awesome experience and it was the fans way of saying thank you to the Coyotes for an exciting season of NHL hockey.

I lost my voice at that point. That moment gave me goosebumps and I've never been prouder of Yotes fans.

Tough series for the Coyotes. They had a surprise season though. I'm sure they will continue this for the next few years. They have a solid core in place. Facing a veteran laden Red Wings team was a tough draw for Phoenix.
