I, for one, would like to see an entire film dedicated to the Gungans of Naboo and what Jar Jar Binks did to get banished...

That would be excellent.

And a followup on what happened to the Ewoks after Episode VI.

Spielberg, Tarantino and Zach Snyder have all said they WON'T direct the new films.

At least if Tarantino directed it, there would be no controversy over if Han shot first.

The problem with that is, Tarantino would have had the bounty hunters head explode and blood splatter across the entire scene. Disney executives would simultaneously vomit. :D

You mean, a Star Wars movie with ONLY good dialogue (and maybe a crap monster)? No thanks.

Staring Jason Lee as Anakin Solo as the only skateboarding Jedi in the nebula. I am down, even if I have to see crap monsters.

Kevin smith

imagine it, a star wars movie with GOOD dialogue

We already saw this. It tried very hard to be absurd, but ended up just being stupid. It was the ending to Jay and Slient Bob.

There is no way the studio allows the old cast to be the primaries in this move. I just don't see it. I could see HF being a major cog in the military or government. Also, possibly MH when dealing with the Jedi. However, there is no way the studio doesn't make this new movie around the next generation. So, I don't think the age of the other actors is a major deal but would provide continuity to the older SW fans.

Personally I would like to see more of a hand off to the next generation with only cameos in the next two films. Again, seeing HF as the only exception.

Worst rumor so far...

http://www.express.co.uk/posts/view/357610/Darth-Vader-to-be-resurrected

Following news that Disney has bought the rights to the lucrative sci-fi franchise and plans to make at least three more movies, industry insiders say the evil Vader will grace the big screen again.

“He’s an integral part of the franchise. Replacing him is virtually impossible,” explains a film mole.

“The plan is for him to return and play a significant role in the new films.”

if they resurrect or clone Vader I am totally out.

If they bring back Vader, they better bring back Boba Fett, who has a ridiculous amount of fanboys compared to his actual screen time. (I don't get it, I just know they would be pissed if Vader returned from the dead without Boba Fett, who already has an explainable storyline to do it).

Lucas has supposedly said before that Fett didn't die in Jedi, him coming back would be more acceptable (and welcomed) by the fans...Vader? I think there would be a mass protest.

At least George Lucas can breathe easy that he is no longer the one ruining Star Wars.
