Starks Will Wear Number 5 at Mini Camp

I just walked by Duane Starks locker and saw a #5 jersey hanging there. The NFL won't allow him to wear it in the regular season, but that is what he is wearing in camp.

I think that Meshawn worked out a deal where he pays some sort of penalty to wear 19. Nothing huge, it goes to NFL charities or something like that.

What about the WR that wore #4 from the Cards? I can't remember his name, but he was from U of A and had a drug problem. Buddy drafted him in the 2nd round after Jamir Miller.

He was listed as a QB as well. That's how he got around it.

That rule is relatively new.

Keyshawn got his number before it was a "rule". Before, it was a practice, but not NFL mandated.

The story that I read was on Martay Jenkins switching from #19 to #82. Someone asked MarTay why Keyshawn gets to wear #19 and Martay said that Keyshawn pays a fine.

Oh well...
