I already had mine for the next to the last Training game (at Chase Field) the evening of Monday March 23rd.
As I previously posted, the final game in that series on Tuesday afternoon will be televised.
And, hey, now Ketel can be returned to 2B (and hopefully left there). 2B won't be covered
by 128 different sub-par players.

My take on the Marte acquisition: it's good and cost a pretty penny, but feels fair. The D-backs will need to be willing push in further over the course of the season, but are better positioned today than they were yesterday in terms of pushing for October baseball.

The #Dbacks give up their No. 7 (Liover Peguero) and No. 9 prospect (Brennan Malone) and $250,00 of international bonus money to the #Pirates for Starling Marte. The Pirates are paying $1.5 million of Marte's $11.5 million salary, per @Gambo987

The addition of Starling Marte should put the Diamondbacks at around $120 million in payroll, when accounting for the Pirates picking up $1.5 million of his 2020 salary.

True and with the student ticket program he goes to quite a few games he can definitely root Marte on.

Crazy thing is that they could spin Ray for a couple of prospects at the deadline and not really hurt the team at all.

I think they’re scared to pay him but I also thought he’d be dealt last July. We’ll how he does this season.

Hazen continues to wow me.
On paper we have a solid and deep pitching staff, a really nice offense, loaded with good defenders.
Only the bullpen remains a question, but... it seems like pens very wildly from year to year, the hardest thing in baseball to judge.
