Call me silly but I think the Cardinals pull this one out for a win.

Will get so ugly, fans will be buying things at the team shop, just to get bags to put on their heads.

man... the Steelers aren't that good this year, but we're that bad. Maybe the week off will help get things right and Kolb gets on a super streak, but I don't think so... although part of me tells me we've got a shot. yup, still someone complete irrational hope inside of me for some reason.

I hope we come out and play well and win -- It'll be a long afternoon with all of those Steelers fans in the house if we come out flat (and with the new rules, teams coming off the bye haven't performed well so far this year). We'd still be 2-4, but it would be quite fulfilling to see this team take out all of their frustration on a team like the Steelers.

All that being said, I think the offense plays its best game of the season and keeps it close all game long -- but Big Ben passes all over our still hapless defense and we lose a shootout.

I honestly don't know what to expect out of this game -- we've lost 4 in a row, are coming off a bye (which is starting to look like a bad thing vs. a good thing the way this season has gone so far), but I think this team has a lot of pent up frustration after the last 4 games and bye week that they are going to try to take out on the Steelers. I'll be there cheering my butt off and hope I'm wrong on my prediction!

Cards win despite Kolb throwing four TDs to the wrong team as Beanie runs all over the Steelers.

I think the D will play much better but I dont see our offense finding their stride against the Steeler D. I see a lot more of the inconsistent drives and 4 yard passes on 3rd and 8.

Cardinals make it close in the 4th Quarter after trailing for the first 3.

Steelers 41, Cardinals 10...to the delight of the plethora of Steeler fans in attendance....and to the further chagrin of Cardinals fans everywhere.

Even worse---we are going to have to hear how the team is making progress...that they just need to make more plays.

Based on this, shouldn't we also start a "Number of angry e-mails to Michael Bidwill posted by Mitch nex week" prediction thread too? :D

The Cards lost to two QBs who have since been benched and Tavaris Jackson and allowed 21 points in the 4th quarter to lose at home to the Giants. They got nothing. It's wait'll next year for Cardinal fans and their youngsters on defense to take over for the AARP squad.

Steelers use the game as a tune up for New England and Baltimore so don't blow us out. They get an early 14 point lead and put it in cruise control for the rest of the game.

The real blood letting comes a week from Sunday at the hands of the Ravens.

Custard's (Wiz's) last stand...a blowout & all this teams problems will come to the forefront. I see some tricks up Wiz's sleeve...once again the lack of pressure on Lurch will be our undoing

Mike Wallace torches the secondary for 180 yards and 2 TDs. Wilson's poor play and Rhodes' absence mean that our CBs get NO help over the top. On top of that, Heath Miller goes for 90 and a TD also because of the lack of safety help coupled with poor LB coverage....

I thought the NY game was the game we'd win (as our surprise win for the year), but since we didn't win it, we're doomed for this game.

Hines Ward (old and slow as he is) is going to destroy us. He will out muscle our DBs and whatever safety is suiting up on Sunday. And the speedy Mike Wallace will have a huge day, too.

31-10 Steelers.

Blech.
