DK Metcalf had a backup plan if it didn't work out for him in the NFL. Though he's dabbled in acting and learning American sign language (ASL), his true passion outside of football is in the kitchen.

"If football didn't work out, my second [calling] was becoming a chef," Metcalf told Steelers.com reporter Missi Matthews.

Like most kids, Metcalf's love of cooking stemmed from watching his parents cook. When asked what his best dish is, Metcalf deferred to his fiance who he said is the best judge of his food. He said he likes to experiment with chicken or southern comfort food.

For now, though, Metcalf plans on cooking on the football field. Who he'll be getting the ingredients from remains the question.
