Here's the way I see it.

SK could have said we are simplifying the playbook, easing Josh into the playbook or something along those lines. Not use the word "dumb it down" which sounds derogatory to our young QB. Quality GM's shouldn't talk like that in public.
People want a reason to whine and bitch about the team. There's plenty of admonishment to go around about this team, but this isn't something to get upset about.

This is the funniest overreaction thread in a while

Dude F’s up he’s gonna get a LOT more scrutiny. He’s gotta cross his T’s and dot his i’s at all times now. When he doesn’t he’ll get called on it. “Dumb it down” is a poor word choice. Calling your stadium by its old sponsor name when a brand spanking new sponsor just paid through the yingyang for their name to be out there is an equally poor mental gaff. Dude is waaaay off his game and people are taking note. Or are you a biiig fan of what he’s created so far this year?

So yeah Keim could have handled that better and I'm more concerned about him goofing up with the stadium name.

Rosen won't be impacted by Keims comment because he handled Mora's comment before the draft.

I have listen to the interview with Doug and Wolf and if you take the time to read between the lines, this whole "dumb it down" and him saying he will not talk about the staff from what goes on "behind closed doors" is all about McCoy being on the hot seat and really nothing to do with Rosen... for all of us who have serve on some committee, the way he is answering by the words he is choosing on his own accord and his awkward avoidance points to somebody about to be on the chop block in my opinion

Dont worry about it. Rosen is going to prosper regardless. Even if the play calling hinders him he will prevail. He is a next level QB. Even if MCcoy fails him he will eventually thrive. I saw him audible out of a play last week and he wont be hesitant to do it again. The key is he is good at pre snap. He reads the defense and takes what is given to him. Rosen and Mayfield will be leading the league years from now. I will stand by this until proven otherwise.

Let's hope you stick around either way.

This is ultimately a problem with expectations and message. The Cardinals billed Rosen as pro ready and super intelligent, and even if it was mis-spoken, now they are talking about dumbing things down for that young QB. It is contradictive language that your GM has to be smarter than to put out there.

I hate to be brutal to people but I'm getting old and no longer have the luxury of time to wait this stuff out. I'm not sure who the problem is on offense if it's Wilks making them timid or if it's the OC but that was lame and yes I think it's time to move on in the GM department at seasons end.

Keim got us rosen and for peanuts. Heck this draft class looks solid.

He's likely safe but on the hot seat next year. This coaching staff is another story
He chose this coaching staff. We are gonna let him do it again?!?

We’ll see, still a defensive HC calling conservative calls on offense (or approving them, same thing) at a time we needed to open it up a bit.

I could care less the word choice. The fact That this offense now is dumbed down is scary because I thought it was pretty damn dumb the first 2 weeks. McCoy's offense is like dumbing down single digit addition. The crazy thing is. Rosen can fricken throw the ball. Why on earth would You want to handcuff that.

Are you sure it was him & not Mike B?
It’s the GMs job. The owner typically signs off on it.

But I am no more sure it was him than you can be sure it was Mike B. Other than the fact that a GM gets paid to provide that work normally. If he didn’t, then it’s a further indictment of Keim that he’s not trusted to make such an important decision. Either way, not a good look for Keim.

Michael B is a very hands on owner and I have zero doubt he was involved with the Wilks hire. That's why I don't think Wilks is hopeless and just a cliche spouting idiot.

Michael can smell a BS artist a mile away. Denny Green was a good hire. Whiz was a good hire. BA was a good hire.
He wanted to hire Andy Reid but KC didn't let him leave and their oline was it much better shape than ours and Andy loves him some oline.

I get what you saying but MB even gets involved interviewing potential players. He is a former prosecutor and looks for tells. I can see him doing the same thing with potential coaches.
