Wow - you'd thought the sky was falling, nukes had been launched and the world was ending in this forum.
Relax - the Cards have work to do
Cards are good at home and should be able to play well against a Giants team going from East to West.
Slow down folks....some of you need to have an anger management class or two.
I am relaxed and don't need anger management classes and I can tell you this: The 2011 Cardinals are...through.
You touch on the problem in your statement, "the Cards have work to do." Well the problem with this is that
no amount of work will change the fact that this team has the worst offensive tackle tandem in the NFL and an O-line coach with
at best, questionable blocking schemes.
When it comes to the defense, again you have a deficiency that
no amount of work and scheming can fix: No real quality play from the OLB's. Especially when it comes to pass-rushing.
In both cases (offense and defense) it's not that they (OT's and OLB's) don't know where to be or what to do, it's that they are physically
incapable of doing it.
Kolb will improve as will all the other young guys and guys adjusting to a new scheme but those two glaring issues will be the downfall of this team until someone
hopefully fixes them
next year.
And therein lies the
legitimate reason for anger and "the sky is falling" mentality. It's another 5-11 or 7-9 season with a side of wait till next year. Long suffering fans of this team feel they don't deserve that...and IMHO, they are absolutely right to feel that way, three miserable showings and a 1 and 2 record, into this season.
