But again the biggest killer was Leinart not working out.
I think this may be more on Whiz than it is on Leinart. He seemed to be progressing just fin e under Green.

For all of Whiz's apparent faults, I think the most damning is his inability to get a QB not named Kurt Warner to play well.

That, and the lack of in game management changes.

If we get Luck, I sure hope the organization invests in a staff that can work with a QB. Right now it'd be a shame for Luck to come for the Cardinals--we would wreck him and rob the world of his talents.

As things stand at this very moment, I hope he goes to Indy and learns under Manning for a year or two. That's the best situation for him.

Maybe if we're in a spot to get Luck we can entice a guy like Gruden to either come and consult or take Whiz's corner office on Hardy Drive.

This is why it hurts us not having a strong GM. Millar was a stupid hire because of his inexperience as an OC. Couple that with Horton's inexperience and the fact that the two of them seem to be implementing calculus level schemes and no wonder players are confused. You can have inexperience on a staff, but you can't have a staff of inexperienced people, which is where our problems lie right now.
