Did I see Shannon Brown playing with the Knicks SL team the other night? Isn't this his 9th year in the league?

You might have but he's one year removed from signing an NBA minimum contract. Williams signed a 3 year 14.4 million deal with Sac, his base salary this year is over 6 million dollars, over 8 next year.
They were saying during the game they think he probably makes more money than the rest of the Kings Summer league roster combined.
From what I see Brown will make 1.3 this year, you don't generally see guys that age in the SL either, but he makes a bit more sense he's basically on the verge of being out of the league after this season.
