IMO, some of his shots look lackadaisical tonight. He reminds me a bit of Shawn Marion when he pushes the ball up on some short shots.

I think he's just having a rough game. Although he's looking a little better in the 3rd.

Edit: Yet he somehow has 20...

Dude just scores the basketball.

Warrens finesse game is alittle troubling. He needs to play above the rim and finish with authority!!! In your face!

Suns up 59-58 after 3rd quarter. The Suns are such a better team with Len in the lineup even if he is not putting up points.

Bobby Portis is looking so good. He has 19 points and 13 rebounds so far.

Somebody tell me that Leuer is more mobile than Harrellson.

I wanted the Suns to draft Portis so I hope Booker has a good career.

Thats funny. You are being sarcastic, I am sure.

Not at the time. He was not putting easy shots away early. Then I mentioned it and he turned all intense. What can I say, he heard me.

Warren and Goodwin did what they were supposed to which was dominate a summer league team that's only NBA player is Portis.

Len on the other hand did not. Every bad game he has makes the Chandler signing that much better because it shows that if we had to rely on Len to be starter, he wouldn't be able to do it with all his fouls.

Booker I thought was ok. James will give Price a run for his money.

Len and Chandler are a good combination at center but keeping both available may be a problem. The Suns defense is dependent upon keeping a center on the court for the most part. They are vulnerable defensively otherwise. Maybe Leuer can handle backup duties at center and PF but I still would like to add another defensive presence upfront. Harrellson seems to take up a lot of room inside but he is not the most mobile player. Maybe the Suns need to keep looking. I think the Suns would be wise to put PG Mike James (24) under at least a partially guaranteed contract.

Yea that's why I've wanted them to bring in a 3rd big man who can defend and rebound a bit and place C for a while now....someone like Seraphin would be nice.

Booker is lighting it up in the 3rd. Can't wait to see what he turns into after a few seasons.

Booker is going to be a player in a couple years. Kid's stroke is pure as snow.

Led by Devin Booker's 31 points, the Suns beat the Pels 93-87 to advance to Monday's Summer League championship game against the Spurs at 6.

Finally watched a whole game. Booker was quite impressive. Harrellson can play too. Not sure he can guard a chair, but he can knock down open shots. Reminds me of Bonner.

I watched the second half, liked Booker, didn't like Harrellson. He looks shorter than your average 6' 10" NBA player (whatever actual height that may be), he doesn't move well, and he's not a banger. Whiffed on an elementary box-out under the basket, and he had plenty of time to see it coming, so I think that's just bad instincts. Bonner is a good comparison, except Bonner looks more fluid to me.

But yeah, Booker was encouraging.

Is Mike James the same guy who bounced around the league as a backup PG for hire several years ago?
