Ugh is right. Did UofA kill their mental momentum? Are they just not really that good? I'm surprised they are still in the top 5 with an 0-2 conference record.

They won’t be top 5 come Monday’s new rankings...
They are very good but have big holes. Primarily they don’t have a legit presence down low. Which places massive pressure on their guards to hit their shots and play at the highest levels. That’s not a recipe for success...

For what it’s worth - Colorado just beat UofA... The Buffs continue to be extremely tough at home.

Phew, Devils escape in Utah in what was without question one of the most poorly officiated games I've ever seen. The officials were clearly punishing ASU for Bobby Hurley's post game criticism of the refs after the Colorado game.

No matter, ASU avoids disaster and their loss to CO looks much less ugly after they also took down UofA and also basically all of the top 10 losing this weekend.

Very tough, hard-fought battle tonight. Devils hadn’t won in Utah since 1975!!
The refs were a literal joke. Lake fouls out with nearly 9mins left in the game? Amazing...
Devils will continue to suffer from the lack of a legit down-low force. But when their guard play is hitting on all cylinders, they are tough to beat!

We dropped to #11, smack dab in the middle of Xavier and Kansas. That's rich.
Side note: how is Wichita State ranked 5th when they lost their only two of their three games of note (Notre Dame and Oklahoma)? They edged out against Baylor, sure, but that shouldn't be enough to be ranked 5th.

Awesome! It is a great place to live, when you are not suffering from seasonal depression in the gloomy Winter, or choking on forest fire smoke in the Summer. Spring and Fall are great.

They don’t have an answer for the zone... Typically you’d prefer to shoot the other team out of the zone and force them to play man, but they can’t hit a shot if you paid them. And now Holder has missed back to back free throws, while Evans is just tossing up hail Mary’s from deep! Wow they look terrible!

Their shot selection has been awful, and the amount of missed FT's at the end has been a back breaker. Not looking promising.
