Harbaugh may want to be careful on that. I can think of a few examples of non calls that clearly favored the Niners.
#1. Skelton slides and a 49er plows into him, forcing a fumble. If that is any QB on the East Coast, that is 15 yards and a big fine for whomever did it.
#2. Fitz gets blind side blasted while the ball is in the air by a DB. Next series we blast a receiver and it is called a personal foul. Both were personal fouls.
#3. Skelton tosses the ball to Andre Roberts and the DB clearly gets there early and interferes with him, popping the ball in the air and giving the 49ers great field position.
Each one of these costs the Cardinals a possession. The officiating wasn't great on either side. I saw 2 Cardinals holding penalties on Brandon Keith that were clear as day from my seats but no call. Iaupati also had several holds that were not called on near sacks.
Ultimately the officials let them play. A 10-3 team whining about the officiating is unbecoming.
Yeah it went both ways, Goldson hit Skelton as he was sliding, the ball was knocked out from behind I think by Smith, but Goldson's hit should have negated the penalty.
Iupati and Davis are just dirty, the first game Davis kept hitting after the whistle, Sunday Iupati dove on and speared a Cardinal player who'd just flushed Smith out of the pocket into a sack. As Smith is falling forward there's Iupati jumping on top of the Card DL and spearing him no call. I pointed it out during the game thread and also asked how many times is he going to hold before they finally call it. They eventually did call one on him. When you can see the jersey of the guy he's blocking pull away from the body it's a pretty good tip he's holding the jersey.
It was a very competitive game, we got some calls, they got some calls, WE WON.
