I was hoping West Ham would be relegated.

Me too, but they were playing better than most of the teams in the league by the end of the year. Plus, Tevez was maybe the most exciting player to watch over the last two months. But I still don't like 'em.

The Magpies just hired Big Sam Allardyce as their new manager...suh-weet!

Fat Freddy just brought him in to make him feel slim!

i think he will do ok for guys to be honest, i hope not of course, but he wont put up with the crap that other have before him!

Well just got rid of the headache Bramble, and some guys who didn't do much in Bernard, Moore, Onyewu, and Srnicek (sp?). Srnicek filled in when needed but is no longer needed, Onyewu didn't play well (neither did Moore), and though I love Bernard as a sparkplug, he couldn't even crack the first team.

Good start, Sam, good start.

Onyewu didn't play well

I didn't see too much of Newcastle, but one play that stood out to me is when Darren Bent (I think) effortlessly shoved Onyewu to the ground and took the ball for a goal opportunity. I think that one play showed that he needs time to adjust to the style of play of the league. I probably haven't seen a minute of Belgian soccer, but I doubt it is as rough as the Premiership. Once he adjusted to life in England, there's no way he would be pushed over like he did on that one play.

Big day for my team, the mighty Leeds United. We will hopefully be deciding on the new owners of the club after coming out of administration.

so do i mate!

love going to the game on boxing day - nice to have a big game for a change!

November 10th looks like a tricky one for you guys....not :barf: god i feel ill just thinking about the game!

Yeah, with Big Sam in charge, I think we'll definitely take you guys down. If it had been this season, let's just say it would have been a knock-down drag 'em out. We probably would have lost because you guys would have been so up for it. We sunk pretty low this season.

I check probably ten times a day to see if the Black Cats have signed McShane, Barnes, Baird, Richardson etc. I don't understand what the hold up is.

Are we going into the season with just Ward and Fulop? I'm not sold on Ward and Keane doesn't seem to have much confidence in Fulop. I'm getting a bit concerned.
