Butler didn’t play the fourth quarter tonight, there’s some hope.

And it came out that he says he will be open to playing with anyone other than the hear. Ugh jimmy, we had a nice spot for you.

The “team” hasn’t really played most of the season yet. Maybe never will with all the constant injuries.

It is a feature of the roster as constructed. This team will never play more than 2 weeks healthy together... right now, they can't even play 2 halves.

The team should be whoever the Suns put on the court.

There is no excuse for the Suns to play like a collection of individuals. This is the most disturbing part about it.

It doesn't matter if they were all healthy anyway, you don't get the full value of Beal and Booker when they are both playing because they do much of the same things offensively, and defensively and rebounding wise you get subpar performance.

This is true.

However, absence of comments to the contrary, how are we to know if he has changed his position?
We don't unless we start hearing rumors.

I am pretty confident one way or another nothing will happen till the end of the season. It's not like we have our own pick so tanking would make a difference. We can always make a deal for someone else's picks before the draft.

Yeah with no picks the biggest advantage of moving our veterans as soon as possible would be to keep them from losing even more trade value. But since Beal and Booker have both come close to bottoming out in that regard, we're probably stuck playing it out for awhile.

Team should be playing better IMO but no team in the NBA can consistently face injuries from their top 3 players and consistently perform well.

The point is we have not seen this team, built as intended, have enough time together. When guys are out, your team is top heavy, it impacts rotations top to bottom.

I think the Suns will make some move before the trade deadline, but whether it is a major move or a tweak, I have no idea.

The Suns front office remains too quiet for my liking.

We do not have to look any further than how the injured Grizzlies took the Suns apart.

The Suns are not the only team that has endured injuries.

They are not but that doesn't change my point. The vast majority of teams cannot have the same expectations when riddled with injury. Especially, teams that are top heavy like the Suns. How many teams have the vast majority of their salary wrapped up in 3 players and over the Apron like we are? You are comparing apples to oranges. The Suns made this bed and they are sleeping in it right now.

Sorry this is a lame excuse and I'm tired of it.

The Grizzlies have had way more injuries than us, are arguably less talented and have a great record.

Injured or not, this Suns team is not good. They haven't blown out anyone or beat a top team all year. The construction of the team sucks.

We can't rebound, we are bad defensively, we have no player that can consistently score inside - we instead live and die by the jumper. Add to this the players just don't seem to care and we lack a leader.

KD and Booker are actually bad ISO players, they didn't used to be, but they are now - Nevertheless that is still the main part of our offense.

The depth actually isn't terrible - it's just we have depth at guard and not at forward and center.

I have come to the conclusion the problem is just as much on KD and Book if not more so than anyone else on the roster. KD has some excuse, because he is old and has never been a leader, Book doesn't really have any excuse, he is degrading and seemingly not showing any pride.

One of these rosters is not like the other. Also, pointing out facts is not an excuse. It’s simply fact this team has a small sample size playing together as a complete roster. I am not even saying if there was a larger sample size they would be playing better although the record says differently when they were. I think pretty much everyone agrees that isn’t likely to happen either.

I'm so beyond handing out excuses to this Suns team.

The only thing I can see the front office holding onto is a stat I heard on a podcast that DBook and KD combined together in games this season is something like 13-2, or 13-3 those two together on the floor.

What a mess. I want my MTV.

That sounds like exactly what they are hanging onto. Probably why the comment about waiting to see how they play when all together came from per reports. I just have low confidence we get to see it before the deadline is up close and personal.
