Bucks are an apron team so we're not getting both. They need to somehow get under the apron to aggregate players, which means losing someone for nothing. Odds of them giving up multiple rotation players aren't good.

If you read that article it says they would first have to dump Connington's salary to do the deal.

I know it sounds like a lot - if you look at their salaries Portis and Middleton's contracts are the two that fit, and coincidently Portis is what we need.

I guess it all depends on how much they want Beal.

Unfortunately I think Ishbia wants Butler, not Millwaukee's stuff, which would be a huge mistake - but either way I think Millwaukee would have to send out those two players whether they go to Miami or us.

I would be beyond floored if Milwaukee traded both of those guys for Beal’s broken down and toxic contract.

I did read it. I still can't see them moving 3 rotation players for Beal. It doesn't make sense unless Giannis is demanding it and I highly doubt that is the case given his history with Middleton.

Time will tell but I can't see Milwaukee losing all of those players.

I have seen where they want off Middleton. Portis I know they like. I can't see Connington being easily traded either. That's a lot of ifs and buts to have that get done.

Suns are the betting favorites to get Patrick Williams. I am not very familiar with him, but his numbers don't look that great, but he is still only 23 and he is a PF.

Only salary that seems to fit is Nurk, so I am all for that if it is doable. Williams has 4 more years at 18 million per year - so he meets the bad contract qualification.

Williams is always hurt but when he's not he's like a modern day Ben Wallace. I wouldn't bank on him being healthy. Beal plays more than he does.

It would be a salary dump for Chicago, and a way for us to get rid of Nurk.

Here is a less childish, more thoughtful way of giving Booker the dismissal he deserves. When I said Booker wilts under pressure, my use of the word "wilt" accidentally turned me on to one of the most ironic back-handed compliments I can think of for an NBA player.

Honestly, Devin Booker makes me think of the negative aspects of Wilt Chamberlain. Yes--here is why a Wilt Chamberlain comparison is not ridiculous and you might want to read this. Don't think of how Chamberlain was the un-qualified greatest scorer in history before Michael Jordan, and still the qualified greatest (e.g. "greatest big man scorer ever"); think of how Wilt wilted. (Yes, pointing out the cruel irony in Wilt Chamberlain's name is so obvious that I must be the millionth person to notice it.) How Chamberlain was notorious for having less fire and drive and killer instinct than his archrival Bill Russell (whom I admire much more than Chamberlain). Russell usually or always outplayed Chamberlain, and won most or all of the championships. Chamberlain came off as cooler, quieter, and softer. Like Devin Booker. Booker is the Chamberlain to Chris Paul's Russell.
