You know getting rid of Payne was a mistake. Not from the “we need a point guard” argument ( we don’t). But from that we got rid of a legit bench player and someone who can also start, someone who’s been in tough spots like the playoffs and finals.

That would have given us some bench depth and keep Gordon as the 6th man. It’s only 5 games but today is just a glaring example of things not looking right.
